Hello all. I have a few questions about the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique. We will in WDW in May. My DD will be a little over 3 1/2 then. I really want her to have the experience of the BBB and I think she will really enjoy it. In saying that she is the typical toddler going through the terrible threes. Her mood can change in an instant. So here are my questions: 1) when you make the reservation do you have to put any money down and if you do what is the cancellation policy on that? 2) The day of your reservation,do you pick out and pay for the package you want before or after the whole process. 3) If you do pay before and my daughter freaks out before the whole process starts how is that handled? Are you just out the money or do they refund the money? I know I am probably overthinking this . Lol. That's what I tend to do. Any other info and/or tips on the BBB would be greatly appreciated. I am curious as well. I am planning on bringing my daughter for the first time in Feb. Was about to make a post until I came across this. My daughter will have just turned three when we go and I'm nervous to see how she acts but she loves dressing up and playing with hair so I'm hoping she will Do great.

You don't put any money down when you make the reservation. They ask what package you'll want but you can always change it. You can cancel any time leading up to the appt. I can't remember if they take a credit card number like dining does or not. But you won't get charged for canceling beforehand. When we got there, we picked out the package and then paid at the very end. Hope this helps!

Thank you so much! This does help. I also read on another site that you do have to give a credit card when making the reservation. But they do not charge anything to it unless you are a no-show or don't cancel at least 24 hours before your reservation. But even then it's only a $10 fee.

I would still love to here about anyone else's experience at BBB with their toddler.

We took my daughter for the first time last year. It was for her 5th birthday. I did provide a credit card when I made my reservation and also indicated the package at the time of the reservation. They do not charge your card unless you are a no show or cancel less than 24 hours in advance.

Honestly, my daughter loved it and the fairy godmother she had did an awesome job. I saw quite a few girls younger than my daughter and I didn't see anyone misbehaving. If they are into princesses and that sort of thing, it's like a dream come true for them and as far as I could tell they were all living in the moment and really enjoying it. Although I'm sure there are exceptions to this and you know your daughter best.

One recommendation I would make is to wear park clothes to the appointment and bring a princess costume or outfit of your own and have your daughter get dressed when she gets there. They have a changing room you can use. The costumes they sell are lovely but $$, you can get them much cheaper outside of WDW. We brought a few costumes and it worked out great because she had options and she sort of felt like that was part of the experience. She also changed out of her costume shortly after as it was hot and she got uncomfortable.

As for the package, I would book just something really basic and see how it goes. We paid at the end of the session and we were probably there for about an hour maybe a little bit more. It was a great Disney memory for all of us - have fun!

We took my twins about two months after their third birthday. My daughter doesn't getting her hair brushed and only lets me do one little pony to keep it out of her eyes, so I was a bit worried how she would handle it. My son is a big ham and I knew he would love the knight package. Anyway, she did great. I brought our costumes and we started by changing in the back. Then we went to the waiting area where a CM was reading a princess book on the floor to all the little waiting princesses. They sat my kids on their chairs and we sat in the middle, and they just did great. It was so funny listening to them chat with their fairy godmothers-in-training. Our photographs came out incredible both during and after, and she tolerated the hair all day, but had me take it out for bedtime. The next day I was able to reassemble it pretty well though, since there was still so much gel!

I would think if you got there, and your daughter freaked out they would not charge you the 10.00. Obviously they could, but I think it's more of a deterrent from making multiple reservations and just deciding not to show. But I bet your daughter will be thrilled. And as others have said you can choose everything when you arrive even though they ask on the phone what package you want. I always say the one that includes everything, but I don't always go with that one.
