Bibbidi bobbidi boutique

On the other hand, my DS (6 at the time) did the Pirates League that same day and had a blast! For some reason they were really slow that afternoon we went, and we were there for hours. He has some speech issues, and at some point he started talking to the girl that was working on him about "elastricity" (electricity) and how it worked. He had all the cast members in hysterics and they all sat in a circle around him on the floor as he was explaining where it came from. Of course, they pretended not to know to stay in character of being Pirates, which made it even better! This, luckily, totally made up for the BBB fiasco and, needless to say, will be a trip I never forget ;)

My DD7 and DS8 LOVE The Pirate's League. I was so sad to learn there wasn't one at DLR. It's such a better deal than BBB, and I love the BBB! With the secret room and all that's included, we just love TPL. My DD7 decided she is officially a pirate princess since she's done both the BBB and TPL...it's awesome :goodvibes Hopefully DLR will get one soon enough.

My dd has done BBB 3 times--twice at DL, once at WDW. It has been really special every time. The first time was on her 3rd bday, the last time just a few mos ago. Twice we did the whole pkg, once we brought our own dress. I like BBB at DL slightly better. The room at WDW is much grander but I think the FGIT are nicer and more experienced at DL and the photo room is without compare. My dd loves that carriage!

I've read about the hair being way too tight for some kids. I highly suggest you tell your fgit that your child has a sensitive head if you're worried about it. Its never bothered my girl but they always ask her if she's ok.

Its not for every child I'm sure but for my girl it has been a WONDERFUL experience each and every time. We already have our BBB booked for our WDW trip this sept. We're bringing our dress this time though :-)

Thank you for your post and sharing your story and pictures. Your little girl is adorable.

I think I'll be calling and making a reservation for my granddaughter. Her hair is definately not as long as your daughter's but I'm sure there is something they can do to fancy it up.

We'll bring her Cinderella dress, go early and spend the day in her princess attire. She's such a little ham, loves having her picture taken. I enjoyed all the "posing" pictures you shared, that is so Fiona too. princess:

We did this in October 2010. We had tickets to the Halloween party and DD wanted to be Belle, so we took her to get made up for the party. TOTALLY WORTH IT for us.

DD did not get the standard princess hair I see so many of the little girls with. She did the "twists" and it was perfect. In these pictures you see the color hair piece she chose for the party. We bought the brown hair piece as well so we could have normal Belle hair for trick or treating at home.

My normally sensitive daughter (then 5) LOVED the BBB last September. Here's her photo:

We brought our own Belle dress, so she just had hair and nails done, no photo shoot. Next time it may be worth buying the whole package so you do get the photo shoot!
