Could my 4 year old daughter wear her already owned Cinderella dress there and then get the treatment?

Also, if you've done it, yay or nay? Anyone willing to share some pics?

We haven't done it ourselves (because we are there all the time, my girls aren't personally ready for the experience vs. the dollar value yet), but yes, you can bring your own dress. It's done all the time. You will just purchase either of the two lower tier packages. The highest tier is the one that includes the costume.

Hope that helps!

We have done the BBB and did the full package, but many people bring their own dresses and get one of the other packages. The kids are treated the same. So if you wnat to bring your dress, go for it. She will have a blast.

we did the bbb at wdw around christmas. got the middle package. hair, nails....no dress. my girls wanted to be comfortable so they wore jeans and tshirts. looked a little out of place. but they were comfortable and to me, thats what mattered.

totally worth it! my daughters are 4 and 6 and loved every minute of it.

that said, we won't be doing it again. once in a lifetime thing.

ok, maybe 1 more time when my youngest daughter is old enough to do it too.

then that will be it.

our fgit told us that the day before we were there she did a 96 year old woman. now that would be fun!

We did BBB in May, read that as WE, my 2 DD's, then 12 & 9 and myself, on my 38th bday. We did the basic package that was just hair and makeup, no costumes for any of us, we just wore jeans and tee shirts all day with our special hair. We got compliments all day long and the FGiT loved that I was doing it with the girls for MY bday. :) We did do the photo package at the end, they just added it to my photopass. And yes, when we were there others did bring their own dresses to wear, it's perfectly fine to do that.

Per Disneyland website:

Girls 3 years old and above can choose from three hair styles — Fairytale Princess, Disney Diva and Pop Princess — available in three packages:

* The Coach Package includes hairstyle, shimmering make-up, princess sash, princess cinch sac and body jewels — $44.95, plus tax.
* The Crown Package includes hairstyle, shimmering makeup, princess sash, princess cinch sac, body jewels and nail polish — $49.95, plus tax.
* The Castle Package includes hairstyle, shimmering makeup, princess sash, princess cinch sac, body jewels, nail polish, princess gown of choice, wand, shoes and portrait package courtesy of Disney's PhotoPass® Service (assorted prints in themed folder). Determined by the choice of princess gown and shoes, price ranges from $195.85 to $205.85.

For reservations, please call (714) 781-STYLE or (714) 781-7895.

We did it last September for our 5 year old daughter. We did the full package because we thought she would enjoy "shopping" with the FGMIT and also having the pictures. We LOVED our experience but would not do the full package again. I would buy the dress & whatever accessories my daughter wanted in advance and take them with us. The experience of "shopping" wasn't really anything special and I know disneystore.com has sales that could save you the money. Also, they were out of my daughter's size in Belle shoes so she didn't have any shoes to complete the look. The photo session was ok but we got some great pics outside around the castle. You can add the photo session on for around $30 if I remember correctly. They take the photos next to a coach and woodland animals. They let my youngest in the photos (as you can see; even though she was too young to get a makeover).

I'm excited to see the $45 and $50 options and am now considering this for my daughter who is bringing her own dress and shoes.

What exactly happens beyond the makeover? Are there princesses that are at the BBB during the makeover?

What makes this a special experience?

Thanks!

I never thought of adults doing this!

My mom, sister and I (and now daughter, age 7) have gone on a "girls only" trip every Spring Break. This is our 20th consecutive trip. We usually shop for 2-3 days in Oregon somewhere. This time, because it's our 20th, we are doing Disney & LA/Bev Hills area for a few days. Every year we talk about getting pictures done. If I could talk my sister and mom into it - it might be fun to do this with my DD this trip and do some pics!

I should add DD did BBB @ MK when she was 5 and it was worth EVERY CENT! The joy - the compliments ALL day - the hairdo that lasted 4 days (I had to MAKE her wash it!). It was awesome!

Hmmmm.....something to think about!

No, there are no Princesses there. The experience is special because you're getting a Disney Princess makeover, the Fairy Godmothers in Training are there to make your dream come true. :)

Just so you know, I had a great time doing the BBB. I thought it was a lot of fun.

I didn't know anything about this. I'm definitely going to have to take my older girl this fall. She will love it!

Do they do it any differently for adults? It would be kind of cool to do this, and have my hair all pretty for our anniversary, lol.

Couldn't agree more. princess:

I was quite glad that my friends talked me into doing it.

Not that I noticed. But pixiewings can probably judge better, I didn't have kids with me.

We did the middle package for my girls (4 and 5 yrs at the time) and we brought our own dresses and crowns. If I'm not mistaken it cost us a little less then (I think it was 29.99 or 34.99 each) but I would do it again in a heartbeat at the current price.

They really accomodated our preferences and were great with the girls. They make it really special and have a cute little "reveal" at the end of the makeover. The pictures are also really cute and wayyy worth the 30 bucks you pay. There is a little wood scene with animals and then the Cinderella coach. My girls absolutely loved it and the extra attention that they got throughout the day.

Oops, I overread that you asked for pictures. Hope an adult princess will do. ;)

I bought the middle priced package too. The photos during the makeover do come with the makeover package, there's a couple of photopass photographers around.

We did the middle package, hair and nails, for my 2 year old and it was worth it. Dh took her and when I met him there his eyes were teary. She talks about her trip to the ''salon'' all the time and now all her little people and barbies get salon treatments too, lol.

I'm curious - I thought they didn't do anyone younger than 3. The reason I ask is that ne of my granddaughers will miss being three by 2 months when we are at wdw in Dec and I hate for us to miss this with her 7 cousins that are getting this treat.

Same question! I was going to ask, as my third daughter will turn 2 on this trip and she's the most girly girl I have. I was planning on booking all 3 of my girls at the BBB, but the one who will have the most fun is my 2 yr old. The other two announced that they won't do it if she can't.
