Hello all! My friends are going to MNSSHP and they were wondering if it was worth it to get the full package at the BBB (which I believe is the costume, hair, nails, make-up, and a photo) or avoid the waiting and time and do everything at the hotel. Which would you suggest? Would you buy the costume seperatly and do hair, nails, and make-up at the boutique? :confused3

NOt sure of the ages of friends looking to do this package. My dd loved it! It truly was magical. My only advice on this is to keep in mind that BBB was running 40 minutes behind schedule when we went on 10-4. Plan accordingly if going to the Boutique.

I am going to let my girls pick out a princess dress separately, and then we have reservations to get hair & make-up down at the BBB. I just went this weekend, and bought some princess shoes at my local Disney store. I figure they'll be a bit cheaper there. Also, I saw that disneyshopping.com has Halloween/Princess stuff at 60% off!

Thanks for the great replies! I'll be sure to print out these replies or link them to the posts. Any more suggestions?

Sorry for the ages! My friend, Kayla, has her two little sisters who love Disney Princess, they're 6 and 4.

Ages 6 and 4..... I would definately do BBB for hair and make-up. You can get dressed at the hotel, then to DTD then to MNSSHP.

Thanks for the info, haley's mom! DD8 and DD9 have a 1:50 appointment at the end of this month, and I have a few questions:

1. What time was your DDs appointment?
2. Was it the full package, or just hair and makeup?
3. Did they both get made up at the same time?
4. How long did it take?

Thanks in advance for your help!
We have a 5:00 ADR at Chef Mickey's, and I'm trying to figure out if we're going to make it in time. :hourglass

was thinking about taking my daughters to BBB, whats the pricing like ?

Saw this on the website!

Girls three and older can choose from three hair styles -- Fairytale Princess, Disney Diva and Pop Princess -- and three packages:

* Coach Package includes hair style and shimmering make-up -- $35 plus tax
* Crown Package includes hair style, shimmering make-up and nails -- $45 plus tax
* Castle Package includes the Crown Package plus Imaging Package*, and complete costume of your choice with accessories -- starting at $175 plus tax

*The Imaging Package includes one 6" x 8" and four 4" x 6" photos in a princess-themed photo holder.

Pick from a host of wondrous accessories, including faux hair and tiaras, at this enchanting place.

Booking in advance is strongly recommended. Call (407) WDW-STYLE (939-7895)† to make a reservation today. We require a credit card as a guarantee. Cancellations must be made 24 hours in advance.

We went during our September trip (DD 8). We did the hair/make-up and nail package. If you have the disney visa card you will get 10% off. You don't have to use it just show it. Also, I was figuring in a nice tip on the price and they do not accept tips at all.

Hi
I bought my DGD 3 1/2 a Cinderella dress at Walmart for $17.49. She got dressed at BBB in the bathroom and then had the crown package, hair, nails and makeup. She loved it. Then we went to 1900 Park Fare for the Cinderella dinner. It was a lot fun!!!

We also brought our own Aurora dress from home (originally from disneyshopping). My DD (3) LOVEDhaving her hair and makeup and nails done. I thought the price for this was fair...but the full package with the costume would have been a bit much for us. Our reservation ran pretty much on time but we did wait a little while for the photo session. (we put this on our photopass CD)

We had a 5:10pm appointment. We arrived early, checked-in, we were called back around 5:40pm. Our fairy-godmother-in-training was super quick. We did the basic package. I think I took about 2 minutes for the make-up, then about 5-10 minutes for the hair styling and pixie dust. Then it was off to another building for her photo-shoot. There was only 1 family in front of us, and then about 10 minutes for the pictures. We had a 7pm reservation at Rainforest Cafe and had plenty of time to spare (with a pit stop at the Lego store).

You should be fine. Just make sure the kids are dressed in the princess costumes prior to their make-over, it'll be much easier to dress before the hair extensions and make-up.

Don't forget your camera and photopass card.

As far as being made up at the same time, I overheard other families, this is not guaranteed. They will ask you which one first. The room is really small, so you will be able to watch both make-overs even if they are called at different times.

Hi all! I agree with haley's mom. We just got back from our most magical trip ever. We were at BBB on Oct. 5 and they were running about 45 minutes behind. Those Fairy Godmothers are really busy! Gabby wore her Cinderella dress there. Once she got in, the make up and hair took about 15 minutes, add an addition 5 for the nails. They are very fast! I was totally impressed by the whole experience. We went over and had her photos taken in the Kodak shop. They came out beautiful! You will all have a wonderful time! :cloud9:

Wow, that seems very fast. I made an appt. for my daughter this Thursday at 9:30am and we have the party that night. Maybe I should try to slide it till later? Hmmm.

Thanks, haley's mom, for your detailed response, and gabbyrosebud, too! :sunny: My goal was to be out of there by 3:30, and we should have no problem doing that.

17 days! Woo hoo! :cool1:

FYI

Since it is in World of Disney you also get 10% off with AAA Diamond Card

Question, Im taking my niece in January to the Pirate Princess Party, how do they do hair? She loves Cinderella, so I was wandering if they could do a mockup on her? Anyone know? Or do they do weird stuff like the barbershop with coloered gel and glitter, if so Im not interested.
