I went in May and saw it- but my DD was at home -

it was ADORABLE!! The girls all looked so cute coming out - you can get their hair and makeup done for $35 and add a manicure for $10 - there is also an option to add a costume for a lot of $$$$

When they are done there is a store down by the Art of Disney where you can go for a photo shoot - the pictures go right on your photopass card - they are also taking pictures in the boutique while they get their hair done

then you can either buy the pictures or the photopass CD of your whole trip! I thought it was really reasonable and looked like a lot of fun!!

our 4 yr old doesn't know it yet, but she's got an appt at the BBB in October. We opted for just the hair pkg. I was going to add the nails in for $10, but upon further questioning the CM, i found out that it is not a manicure, they just paint the nails w/sparkly nail polish. (just like it's a hair style, not a cut). i decided I could paint her nails myself and save some $$!

i took my 3 and 1/2 year old!!! she loved it! we have an apt for her b-day!

We are going next week. I have DD12 and DD10 doing the makeover with manicure. I will let you know. It sounds cool. Some have posted pics of it and loved it. I am excited to see how it goes. :goodvibes

We have an appt in Sept for DD4 to get hair and nails done. She did the same at a place near home and LOVED it. When I heard about the BBB, I had to get her in there!

DD loved it!! We were just there two weeks ago and she so looked forward to her BBB appointment and she was not disappointed. She picked the hair, make-up and nail package. It was $45.00. She wore her Cinderella costume to her appointment. The boutique is really cute looking and all the girls seemed very happy to be getting done up like real princesses. She picked the hair style that added curly extentions to her hair. It was really cute. Her Fairy Godmother in training was very nice. DD loved her shimmering makeup. They give you the rest of the makeup kit to take home as well as more fake nails if you get your nails done too.

DD has already asked to do it again next time we go. However we will probably forgo the nails next time. They paint the girls nails and then add fake ones which looked really cute. While DD liked them she soon found out how impractical they are. She couldn't play and be a 5yo with longish fake nails on! She took most of them off within and hour and a half.

We booked DD's appt at 10:30 and had to wait about 15 minutes before being taken back. I made it a special day for DD by booking the Wonderland Tea Party at the GF for lunch for her at 1:30. She had fun being all done up for her special tea. We also had reservations for HDDR that night and her hair was still "up" and I just freshend her make-up. We saw two other little girls from that morning at BBB also at HDDR with their hair and make-up still looking good! :)

As someone else said they have a photopass photographer in there while the girls are getting done. We have some cute shots of her. :)

MY DD Loves fake nails..she so excited ( I just read the last review to her) that we booked her an appointment. In doing this (I feel like I have booked our family all over Disneyworld.) we decided to rent a car just a cheep eco car to go back and forth to all these things..9:30 am appointment...

I am amazed that a 9 year old still wants the princess look...LOL.. A little bit of Pixie Dust and that classic Disney Magic makes her a little girl again.....she is still little but you know what I mean..lol...

We have done Libby Lu in seattle.. It sounds great..they also have a Libby Lu in Downtown Disney..You have to do it if you make it to DisneyLand...

I booked my dd7 princess: in last week when we were there and it was perfect, we went for just hair and makeup but that proved to be enough, she felt like a true princess during and after ... the hair looked so cute and the makeup she chose not to over the top and looked lovely ... The place is gorgeous and everyone is great, i would say go for it your girls will love it!!! :) :)

they paint the littler girls nails or they can get press on nails.
theres like 5 diffrent nail polish colors!

Do you have to make a reservation in advance? Can we wait to call after we arrive in WDW and make an appt for whatever day?? We are going the week before Christams (16-23). What is everyone's experience??

TIA! :thumbsup2

My bridesmaids and I did it before my wedding in May
Had the best time...I recommend getting reservations, we made them about two weeks before and had about a ten min wait once we arrived...It was so much fun...all the little girls looked so cute.... we just looked silly, but all in the spirit of a good time

I would especially for that timeframe. It was filled with little girls when we went two weeks ago and they all had appointment times. At least if you make an appointment you can get the time you want as opposed to being placed into the only few spots open.

Just so you know Big Princesses can do it to. YES I have done it and am doing it again in Dec with my friend.

Actually they do both paint and press on nails. They do have several colors of paint to choose from. DD choose purple nail color. I was glad they painted them also so after she picked off the fake nails she still had nicely colored ones. :)

our 6 year old loved it - we did the full package - and the costume will also be the halloween costume (so that lessens the blow of the cost of the full package). liked the pictures we got to choose from (part of the deal and no heavy push to buy any extras). definitely make a reservation (they'll ask what princess if you're doing the costume - that was so cool - they take you into another room where the costume is in a plastic bag - my wife said it was like when she picked up her wedding dress) - the nails were sort of useless I would concur - not a real manicure by any means and the press on nails didn't last at all - the hair piece was lots of fun, though.

My Princess princess: 5 did it last week. We did the full package. I think it is called the castle package for $175. We were going to by a princess dress anyway then the shoes, tiara and wand. DD gets a costume every trip and she always uses it Halloween too. Daddy :wizard: decided to go all out!

I think it was worth it but, next time I think we might come in our costume and just get hair and makeup. It is not worth it to pay extra for nails.

The more I read these boards, the more I realize I don't know. I haven't heard of this, is it in a park or dd? Anyone know the hours? How long do the appointments last?
