I was SO excited to read about this!! I had planned on my boy getting his hair cut our first full day at MK, and was debating just getting some Pixie dust for the girls, but then THIS!!! I called and booked them right away for the day we are doing Park Fare for Dinner. I was going to keep it a secret, but I HAD to tell them!!

My older one (Almost 6) told the younger one (Just turned 4) "I'll break the news to daddy. We are going to wear make up, and look so beautiful, it would be better if he knew ahead of time so he can be prepared" IT took every last ounce of strength I had not to burst out laughing!! PS: although Daddy did know about it already - we had discussed it before I booked it, He looked my 5YO in the eye and said "I am so happy you told me. I can tell mommy now, so she doesn't get mad that I will be having dinner with 2 younger, beautiful girls" To Which my 5YO replied. "Oh, she already knows. Besides I know she's the only woman for you" :rotfl2: ROFL!!!

11 days and counting!!!

I took my 6 & 7 year old girls at the end of June and they loved it. We went with the castle package- the dresses will be their Halloween costumes too. ;)

It was a great time. You can see their picture in my sig.

We booked DD's appt at 10:30 and had to wait about 15 minutes before being taken back. I made it a special day for DD by booking the Wonderland Tea Party at the GF for lunch for her at 1:30. She had fun being all done up for her special tea.

MinnieGi - I am doing the same thing for DD6 in December - appointment at 9 (she'll wear her own dress), then the tea party at 1:30. Question for you - did your daughter wear her Cinderella dress to the tea party as well? Did you see other girls there that were dressed up? Trying to decide if we should keep her in her dress or change before the party. Thanks!

Can anyone comment on the quality of the costumes? DD only has the $20 princess dresses that I buy from Target, so far. . . You know the ones, "one size fits all" (which means they really don't fit her at all!), pretty flimsy. She loves them, of course, though! Anyways, are the Disney ones made to fit? And are they really good quality, considering the price?

If so, I may do the full package before going to the princess tea with Aurora, which we're also considering. (I think I'm losing my mind!) I wouldn't mind her having one really NICE dress . . .

Not sure about the dresses at the BBB, but I just bought a pretty nice Belle dress at The Disney Store yesterday for $39.50 (they also had Cinderella and Aurora). It seems nicer than the ones at Target, and had different sizes (DD6 fit pretty well into the 7/8, with room to grow). I just couldn't stomach paying an extra $130 for the costume at BBB. :cheer2:
