I understand that an appointment for hair and make-up (not nails) would take about 20 mins. My DD will be almost 8 when we visit in Mar 2008, and would love the Diva Princess. My DS would be almost 6, and is keen on the 'Cool Dude' idea, but I didn't know how long his appointment would need to be, and whether he would be able to sit in the 'station' next to his sister? I also have a DD who would be just under 3, and would feel left out if she didn't get any attention/sprinkle of pixie dust. Do you think it would work to book my eldest DD in for a standard 'treatment', with my DS and youngest DD sharing the same timeframe (paying for both). This would mean that I would end up with one Diva Princess, One Cool Dude and a very happy sparkly mini Princess. Is it possible for all 3 to have photos taken afterward at the studio? Can anyone see any problems with this plan?

Thank you for your help.

When we went to BBB, we booked two appointments back to back for our girls. They took DD7 when a fairy godmother in training was available, then took DD4 when the next one was open (it was not the station next to DD7 - it was across the room). DD4 didn't like that plan and wanted to be where her sister was, so they let the next child take DD4's spot and DD4 waited for her sister to be done, then she sat in the same chair. They were very accommodating.

The only problem I see with your plan is that your kids need to be three to make an appointment at BBB. Not sure how close your littlest one will be to being three or if they will let her do it, but you can certainly try. Even if you can't make an appointment, you might get a very nice fairy godmother in training who will sprinkle pixie dust from her wand on your 2-year old just to be nice. It should take less than a minute to sprinkle pixie dust if everyone cooperates!

We have not done the photo shoot (DH is an excellent photographer), but it seems like they would be happy to do all three at once!

Forgot to add - no matter where your DS sits, you will be able to see all your kids. The room is basically circular with benches in the middle for parents and waiting siblings. You can watch everyone as they get done!

I took my 3 DDs for appts in April and they took 2 right away and the 3rd a few minutes later. They were all done around the same time. We did do the photo shoot because I had a coupon (AP) for a free 5x7. I asked if they could all be in the same picture and they took several shots of them all together - lots of pictures to choose from. It was really neat for them. I would definitely recommend it!

Thanks for everyones advice. I'm glad that it's all in one large room, as I was worried how I would be able to split myself between the three. I understand that you can have one adult to each child, so my husband and I can see both tranformations. When I phone to book I will ask about my youngest who will be 2 3/4 at the time. Even if she was 3 I'm not convinced she would like too much messing with her hair (I know what a battle it is most mornings now!) but she likes to copy her siblings and be involved in everything so a sprinkle of pixie dust would be ideal. I'd be happy to pay for her to have a 'cool dude' to allow her the five minutes in the chair and a bit of attention, even if she doesn't have a lot done!

Thanks again.
