1. Anyone has.1. Has anyone done preopening BBB?
If you make a reservation at 8 am, and finish before 9 am,
2. do you get to continue to the back of the castle and get in line for Fantasyland rides with the preopening BoG crowd?
Unless you're getting a Knight's Package, I would assume that even an 8:00am PPO won't really get you out very early, FYI. There are a few magical steps before, during, and after your child's transformation in the actual salon chair.Yeah I knew it was in the back of the castle, but I had read somewhere that you still get ushered back to the front to wait with the rope drop crowd and can't go back towards Fantasyland.

Enjoy the beautiful, relatively empty walk to the boutique. Some of the loveliest shots from our trip are the ones my husband took of the castle and its surroundings with zero humans in them, and some of my favorite shots are the wide ones I took of my kids walking through part of Fantasyland with no one else in the shot.
1) We had no issues getting shots without others, but we weren't trying for the classic directly in front of the castle. There was no one but some ducks on the path around the left side of the castle we were directed to take. We had an 8:30am appt, so I felt like we entered the park around 8:20am a bit after a rush of people going to Crystal Palace, BOG, and BBB might have come through right at 7:45-8am.Good to know. Is it difficult to get shots with no one else in the picture? I'd imagine other PPO guests are walking around. Is Photopass available at that time? Last question - how often will the opening times be changed to earlier rendering the PPO without benefit (i.e., changing opening time from 9 to 8)?
What's the age range for BBB? I have a 7 y/o DD who would love it, but by the time we get there she'd be like 8, maybe 9.
Pretty sure the cut off is 12.
This was our experience in Dec 2019. My daughter had an 8am appt with the park opening at 9. We brought a costume from home, so she was already dressed. At BBB check in, we picked our updo and meet the fairy godmother. You interact with magic mirror and are eventually escorted to the salon area. Hair, make up and nails. Photopass was there taking pics of the process. When finished, we headed directly across to the store for the photo session. Photopass with generic background, but beautiful pics of our princess. Literally no one was there. Tons of pics before starting our day and her hair getting messed. (which it really doesn't because of all the hairspray and gel!). Then headed towards Mine Train. Got in line with BOG people along the fence. At 9am we were all led up the fast pass line. We never felt rushed or like we shortened our BBB experience in any way. The timing worked perfectly for us.
We did not stop for pics before BBB. They start checking reservations by Sleepy Hollow right around 8am, so we went straight to BBB. I would say we were in line by BOG around 8:50. Once the fireworks from the stage show go off, they let BOG up the FP line. Maybe a 5min wait, so off 7DMT by 9:15
