Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique @ Disneyland

I think you can book 90 days in advance. I'd go ahead and do it now if possible. One less thing to worry about!

I called about this last week. They told me I could not make reservations until 60 days in advance.

60 days, call when you can so it's all set up. :)

I just got off the phone with them! Yep, 60 days. On a side note does anyone know if they have Rapunzel dresses in stock? I forgot to ask. I'll have to call to book anyway, but I heard the had trouble keeping them in stock. I's hate for my niece to be disappointed if they are sold out. I might have to pick one up before we go.

Thats what I am planning. About a week or two before we go I am planning on taking DD to the Disney store and letting her pick out her dress (Im sure it will be either Cinderella or Rapunzel) and accesseries. Or maybe DW will want to make it a Mommy Daughter day and I can do other stuff to get ready for the trip.

its either 60 or 90 days in advance. I booked my DD appointment over a month in advance. And since we just got the middle package for her. I let her pick out a princess dress (she chose Belle) at the disney store, so that i wouldn't have to spend $70 on a dress in the parks. It was an awesome experience for her. Worth every penny!

Make reservations as early as possible just to get it out of the way. When we were there in Sept., I made reservations 2 days before and they said they were booked for the rest of the week, so we got lucky. I'd buy the dress beforehand. The Disney Store version of the Rapunzel dress we bought for 39.99 looked identical to the one in DL that was over $70. Maybe reserve lunch at Ariels Grotto so she can go meet the Princesses all decked out!

Yep. That's what I was thinking. BBB early and then lunch at AG. If I make an appt for say 11 am at BBB would I be able to make a 1 pm reservation at AG or should I do 2?

If you plan on doing pix I'd say 2 so you don't have to rush. By 11am they can be running a bit late, she has to get her dress on and the process takes about 45 mins or so depending on length of hair and that sort of thing. Not sure if you're going to take pix in the coach room but I definitely recommend it. Its really cute but it can take time if a few girls are waiting. Then they have to print them. Then you'll probably want to have time to take pix in front of the castle and by the wishing well, walk down main street, get into CA, walk to AG and check in 10 mins ahead.

My dd loves BBB!!!

That's very helpful thank you!

Not to high-jack the post, but how much should I expect to spend? I was thinking about the middle package which is, I believe, about $50. But do we tip? And if we want to take pictures, is that extra? Thanks!

There was some discussion on this a few weeks ago as some have been told that tips aren't accepted. But it seems more now that tips are excepted. Tip like you would at a hair salon is what someone told me on here. I'm thinking 5 or 10 bucks but we shall see. I too am thinking of the middle package.

Question: my odd is large in height and stature for a 10yo. She's about 5ft, 5ft1in and weighs about 110. I told her I didn't think they'd have a dress big enough for her. She's disappointed but understands. She's run into this problem other places too.

Am I right? Will she be too big?

TIA!

When I called to make an appointment for May, I was told the new Courtyard package will be available in Disneyland starting on May 30th. This includes a tutu and t-shirt rather than a costume. It is expected for be $99.

We've done BBB twice at DL and once at WDW and we tipped the last two times. The only reason we didn't tip the first time was because it hadn't occurred to me. We tipped $5 both times although once we did the castle package and the other only the crown. The efforts of the fgit were exactly the same for both. Not sure why I would tip her on the cost of the dress??? Anyway, I really felt (particularly our 2nd time at DL) that the fgit did a great job. She took a lot of time with my dd's hair which is quite long and spent extra time poofing up the hair extension thing that comes with the diva package.

BTW, the middle package which includes the nail polish is now $59.95 plus tax. The photo package if you add it is another $29.95. I highly suggest the pix at DL's bbb, the coach is really pretty. My dd LOVES that coach.

She might be but I wouldn't let that stop me. In order to avoid disappointment I would order something custom made off etsy and bring it with you along with shoes. If you slip it to the clerk they should be able to hang it up in the room and do the reveal. You could then do the crown package but let her shop for the wand or maybe some jewelry pieces to match the chosen princess. I think the experience would be just as good as getting the dress there. Actually maybe even better because there wouldn't be any concern with them being out of the princess she wants.

Someone will correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe she's technically too old to dress up at age 10. I believe the age cut off is 9 for kids to dress up in the parks. I honestly don't know, my kids never wanted to dress up in the parks. :) That said, I think you can get the XL or even XXL and it should fit her fine, I'm 5'4" and I can wear a XL Disney costume. LOL :) Even if she's too "old" for a costume she can still do BBB, I did it with my girls for my birthday, it was fun. :)
