So apparently there’s an age limit for BBB.

It’s ages 3 to 12

I remember adults use to do it years ago do you do guys have pictures
If the BBB makeovers when you guys allowed to do it

Now it’s just for kids

Because if I remember the story that families were turned away from BBB because of adults taking over.

And kids ( little girls ) were probably very upset because they were not able to do the makeover at least that’s what I heard or read

Parents would see adults with the buns and hairpieces and would be probably be very upset about the fact that their child was turned away

So Disney put an age limit I think in 2012 to prevent kids from getting turned away or something like that

Who liked the hairstyles back then
Or do you guys prefer the newer hairstyles this year.

My honesty opinion I love the hairstyles now because they look less tight

The age limit is for the children. People that are older than 12 often appear as adults to children. Disney does not want people walking around the parks/ships who young children could confuse to be an actual princess due to their height and/or maturity.

Disney friends are highly trained and strategically placed within the parks (as there's only one Mickey Mouse we know ;) ) so that it keeps the magic alive for children for as long as possible.

When was it that they allowed adults? I don't ever remember that (not something that would interest me), but I don't doubt you. However, Disney has never let adults wear Disney princess dresses in the parks for the reasons @scrappinginontario mentions above (Halloween costumes during the parties are the only potential exception I can think of). You can Disney bound, but that is different. I could see BBB possibly doing adult hair and makeup, but not the "full princess experience" for an adult.

I don’t have a picture but my DD did it when she was 13 (2010) and she wore a size XL belle dress. She was in heaven. Her friend (age 16) did it with her but just had her hair done and received a sash. Neither one “looked” old enough to be a real princess. I get it, but they had an awesome time and glad they got to do it. If they had it when my DD was little, I didn’t know about it. It was at downtown Disney then

I should’ve been more specific I apologize about that they used to do the hair and make up and nails for the adults back in the 2000s when BBB first open

Yes I knew about the princess costumes that grown-ups are not allowed to wear them only on Halloween because they don’t want children to mistaken as a cast member. But If i remember correctly well read about it that adults would do the crown package instead because of the rules back years ago before the age limit became a thing

This was years ago

Yes, at one time BBB would do hair/make-up for adults. It think it changed when families were having trouble making appointments for kids because there were large bachelorette parties booking it up. At least, that's what I recall.

Wow beautiful was she sad when they put an age limit
At the time we only went every few years so by the next trip she felt like she was too old for it. Now she is sad because we go in September and my DGD (her daughter) is only 2 1/2 and not old enough yet. She was just happy she got to do it. I don’t think it was as popular then as it is now.
