Pirate's league may not reopen, it was scheduled to close in July prior to the park closures.

Depends on your child. For our then-6yo she thought it was the most wonderful thing ever. The look on her face when she saw herself was sheer delight. As our older two DDs have grown they've enjoyed it less. (I think have done it 3 times over 7 years)

IMHO it's worth it for 6-9yo but less so as they get older. The older DDs still wanted to do it (one is now 13 so no longer eligible) but in Dad's opinion, they didn't get enough out of it to justify the price.

We did DGD6 last trip and she loved it! But we prob won’t do it again, a one and done for us! Now when I have another DGD, yes, I will do it with her too! Also, we choose to get the dress there, I thought it would be a huge deal for her to get to pick out her dress there, I thought it would make her feel really special, it was really underwhelmin! if you can, take a dress, save some money! And I edited to add, DGD6 thought she was something special all day, we have video of her waving at people with her dress on, let the princesses do from the floats, that part alone was probably worth i!

It was the one thing in Disney I thought was somewhat "reasonable". My girls loved it!!! My only issue is the experience can really depend on the person you get. One time they spent forever doing everything just right and making it "memorable". The next my girls were in and out in no time at all. Still my girls have always thought it was a good experience!

My granddaughters love it! We usually go to Castle Couture to pick the dress (not as hectic) then walk over to the boutique. Last time we did the Ivy Trellis, which is now the BBB at Grand Floridian, and they have another salon there as well. Also, last time we just did dressy dresses, and they are much more comfortable for the girls. As a first time experience, I would definitely recommend it.

I also agree take you're own dress. There are lots of comfortable ones on line.
