Has anyone used bibbidi bobbodi boutique yet? what was it like? I@m thinking of taking my two girls 6 and 7 for a princess make over.

I'm sure recently i read of a trip report (on the main trip report page) of 2 girls going to the boutique, there were pictures also, might be worth having a looking.

We took our DD to Libby Lou in the Florida Mall for a make over ,prior to our meal at CRT, and must say it was excellent value,Cinderella and the other Princesses commented on how lovely she was, check it out before forking out all those extra bucks which could be spent on other things.

We went to the bibbidi boutique in May with my daughter age 6 and had just the best time,
We arrived a little early for our appt so were given a pager and spent the time waiting looking around the princess room in the World of Disney store...the boutique is located in a corner of this room. I would strongly recommend booking in advance as the place was packed. I believe you can do this at the 180 day mark like dining reservations.
The girls get such special attention each is assigned their own fairy godmother to make them over. After reading the threads on the US Boards we took their advice and bought our own costume with us. This was a Disney one but even adding up what we paid was still cheaper than going for their top package. You may be able to pick up a great costume at ebay, woolies or walmart. We chose the hair makeup and nail package which cost $45. The godmother had no problem with letting her change in the makeover room so you still get the same experience just cheaper!!
Her hair was put in a lovely bun with a tiara and mickey head bling pin. I was worried about the makeup part but it realy is subtle just a little light eyeshadow and some gloss. They also let her choose a little transfer to put on her cheek and ears like earings...we had a flower. They give you the option of press on false nails or varnish...i would go with varnish. Many people have reported the nails do not last and the varnish they use is a pretty light pink colour. At the end they sprinkle on some pixie dust gitter place a boutique sash across their shoulders and then twirl the girs around to look in the mirror. There were photopass photographers taking pics all the time which you can add to your card ( again saves money from having the seperate photo package ) and i took loads on our own camera too. We were given a pretty bag with the little make up pallette used, and the press on nails to use another time!
We went across to the World of memories store and had some professional photos taken at their set there...again these were added to our photo pass card not paid for seperately. Wish i knew how to post photos as she looked so adorable. She had chosen Tinkerbell . It was so pretty to see all the little ones dressed up...realy magical. I was full of Disney feeling coming out of there!
I would highly recommend this experience..i see they are now allowing boys in too for a cool dude makeover of gel and mickey confetti so my son will be able to join in next time. Try to avoid paying their full top price..its realy not necessary as you can have the exact same experience with a little forward planning.
After the boutique we went to the magic kingdom for the evening she got so much attention from all the cast members and characters. Try to arrange to go for a meal or to the parks afterwards as they will not want to take it all off in a hurry. princess:
