I was just wondering what peoples must do's are for beyond the theme parks?

Shopping..shopping and more shopping - prime and premium outlets, walmart, florida mall, millenia mall, outdoor world and costco.

If we stay offsite we usually have at least 1 beach day. Our favourite place is anna maria island but we also enjoyed getting the boat over to caldesi island.

Trip to celebration for a stroll around. At xmas time they do the fake snow each night.

We've also done an airboat ride at boggy creek.

Old town - went first time last trip. Sat night they had a parade of old cars.

Bok tower garden - nice quiet gardens to walk around and at 3pm daily a bell concert plays. It's down the 27.

Kennedy space centre and trip to cocoa beach.

Bit of a trek from Orlando but we have done tarpon springs, Daytona and st augustine as day trips.

Swimming in villa or hotel pool.

Mrs Pegasus has to fit in a trip to Premium Outlet just so she can visit the Fossil Shop.
Celebration - normally on a Sunday morning as thats when they do the farmers market. Loads of nice, local products that make perfect gifts.
Old Town - we normally try to fit in a Thursday, Friday and Saturday night here as we love it so much.

Well we're normally onsite junkies for the most part but do enjoy popping out to the real world and shopping or little hearts (and credit cards) out too.

If we're feeling adventurous we sometimes do a little day trip to the beach too. Sometimes Cocoa Beach and Port Canaveral (it's nice to see the Disney ships sailing if you're around on those days, wonderful atmosphere), and we've gone to visit Disney's Vero Beach resort a couple of times too though that's a bit further away.

I've only recently heard about Bok Tower and want to go visit that but not sure can fit that in this trip, we'll see.

we go to the state parks, de leon, wekiwa, nice day out and usually about $5 per car to get in.
also silver springs, different to the major theme parks http://www.silversprings.com/
if you go to Bok tower have a go on Spook Hill which is nr the road that leads to Bok :thumbsup2

Go see the Atlantic from the other side and go touch the moon (well a little bit of it) at Kennedy...
