BEWARE Vmk Is on The War Path!!

I just got banned as well, I have no idea what I could have done. It's sad because now instead of having fun on VMK i'm going to always be worrying if what I say next can permanetly ban me off VMK forever. I got a 24 hour ban as well, I can deal with that. It's not like i'll crumble if I don't get to play for a day. I know VMK is just trying to make the game safe for everyone, but I don't feel safe. My ban could have been for something weeks ago, but i'm always super careful what I say. I guess i'm going to have to be even more careful.

It sounds like you are trying to say VMK is out to ban everyone they can. "It's already starting."

And I don't blame people for wanting to contact their VMK friends on Yahoo or MSN or whatever. If you can get the info across OTHER THAN ON VMK it may be a good idea if you actually fear chatting in VMK.

yea if u ask me, i agree - these bans are getting out of control. our whole IP is banned for 10 years because of something stupid my sister tried to do -.-

i wrote to vmk, through both parent and player mode, and got the same response: "we dont want you in the kingdom anymore"

i had only been banned i think 3 times before, the longest ban lasted about a week and the other 2 were because of my cousins false-reporting me.

vmk should pay more attention to what's ban worthy and what isn't.

well its what my sister did. she tried making an inappropriate account name while i was at track practice. i came home, tried logging onto VMK and BAM! "youve been banned till 2017, later sucker" [[not in those words but..u get the idea ;D]]

Well, then tough cookies: it sounds like a legitimate ban. What VMK is doing is to protect the younger players from individuals that would WANT that inappropriate account name.

I'm sorry for your issue, but this was a terrible mistake on your sister's front. She's to blame, not VMK.

So, I'd kindly ask that you not insult this game, unless it is part of my talking points.

uhm first off, i was NOT blaming vmk for this ban, i did say that it was my sister's fault. and second, i could list off a million unreasonable, and not to mention STUPID AND UNFAIR bans that vmk has given me and other players. third, what vmk is doing is trying to provide a happy-go-lucky environment for kids ages 8-14 AT THE YOUNGEST. it's just not gonna happen unless we get 2 little button options as our dictionary that say "hi" and "bye". by those ages, in this saaaddd generation of ours, im pretty sure many of kids between those ages will know what many things mean. no one is telling them to repeat anything they see.
a majority of the vmk players are or are becoming over that age range. and even the ones who aren't most definitely know right from wrong. and those who choose to be in the wrong, like my sister, get the bad result.
oh and, im not insulting vmk, but i could if i wanted to. freedom of speech and opinion ;D

just wondering..every time we get that little warning thing from vmk about personal info, doesnt it say "asking for or giving out personal information is against the values"?

herm...i think the other person should have at least gotten a warning..they probably did..

but yea, giving out personal info is worse, which is probably why u got banned.

either way tho..i hate how vmk is so g-rated. some of the stuff they ban you for is outrageous..

In general, I find something is odd about all of these new posts by new members, very similar in writing style, regarding people being banned for no reason. I tend to think they might just be legitimate.





My household was victim of an unfair ban and Disney/VMK had it rectified in less than 48 hours. If they unfairly ban, are contacted and see they made a mistake, the ban will be lifted. If you or somebody in your household have caused too many problems or have committed an offense against the VMK Values, they reserve the right to ban you from their game.

Saying you were banned three times before (on the same PC perhaps?? ) indicates to me that VMK has had enough mischief from your IP. Regardless, it is their game and they have proven they can ban who they wish.

You might ask your parents to contact them via the phone as emails are not working. If you were banned unfairly, your mom or dad might be able to get something done on your behalf and have the ban changed from an IP ban to a username. Unlikely, but maybe worth a shot.

MY SISTER is the one to blame for the whole thing. i wasnt even home when the ban happened - i was at a track meet. and i wasnt saying vmk couldnt ban anyone, i didnt say that at all. but they should SERIOUSLY look into their bans to see what's fair and what isn't. they've just gotten sooo lazy. it shocks me.

In all seriousness, please post responsibly.

If you are going to post that you have been banned 3 times, you have made it the business of each person who reads it. Nobody had to get into your ban record, you posted it out here for everybody to see. If you choose to get annoyed, perhaps the annoyance should be with yourself for sharing too much of your personal information and getting your feelings hurt when somebody comments on it.

I will say it again, still sounds like VMK is tired of the mischief FROM YOUR IP!!!

Going by your attitude, especially when you have been offered advice, I think I am on VMK's side, regardless of the reason.
