Beware of CTTM

Ok, I will try and make a long story short....just a warning after seeing the thread on redemptions being caught up. Don't hold your breath.

I cashed out last June for 2 Target gc- first time cashing out. Never got em- kept emailing Bonnie- usually takes 2-3 emails before I get any responses. Heard EVERY excuse in the book as to why I didn't get them......car broke down, she sent them already and I should have gotten them, kids sick, etc etc.

Well, here we are 10 months later, and I get this email TODAY. She had never informed me of any of this until now- I am done with this site- she is apparently in way over her head, and I won't waste my time on a site that isn't truthful with its members.

Here is the email:
Hi Lisa,
I have the replacement cards ready to send. The only issue with them was
when I called to cancel them (back in October) they had each already had
been used so Target would only do the rmaining balance on each card. As I'm
unable to determine who used them and we can only offer the remaining
balance ourselves. I hope you understand and I'm sorry about that.

Hmmm, think Bonnie did some shopping at Target back in October?????
 
Sorry to hear what happened to you! I joined last year but then started reading about all the problems getting in touch with her and all her excuses and I stopped immediately. Obviously she IS in way over her head.....
 
Well, I called when I got the card and the full amount ($5) is on there. I call with all of the gift cards I receive after reading on another site about how someone had given one as a gift and it hadn't been activated.
 
MommyBoo!- I am glad it worked out for you and you got what you were supposed to. The problem was that I never even got the cards to begin with. I guess what upsets me the most is that Bonnie has been lying to me all along (and obviously since October when she supposedly found out about this). I guess my lesson has been learned the hard way on this one, so I figure I can at least warn others about the dishonesty going on at this particular site.
 

I wonder if they weren't "used" per se, but the balance left was due to service charges? I don't know how Target is but I've heard that some places charge for inactivity.

Either way if she had called for the balances in October and was letting you think otherwise, well that's just wrong.

I quit CTTM a very long time ago, now all I bother with is MyPoints.
 
what was CTTM? Im doing some sites and dont wanna tangle up with this one.
 
Just bumping to update- STILL have not received anything from Bonnie- and more unanswered emails! :headache: I just sent out another email today, so we will see if it ever gets a reply. How frustrating this is- I would have given up long ago, but after being lied to repeatedly, now I want the cards just on principal, lol!

I've been using CTTM on and off ever since they started up. A cpl of years ago things started going bad, but here recently it looks like she is getting everything running again. She's emailed me back within the day and is very prompt about crediting. Maybe she got everything fixed?
