Does anyone else watch this? Not the old one but the new one. I was a kid when the old one was on, so to me it was a boring grown up show lol. But I have been watching the re-make show. I like it but lately, as a person with bipolar disorder I do not like the way they portray this illness with the character Silver. But other than that I have been enjoying he show. It's such a soap opera. I think the boy who's gay is super cute. And I like the girl whose gone all evil, she's fun. Does anyone else like the show??

I watch it. Its one of my guilty pleasures. My friend and i text back and forth about this show and gossip girl. I watched the original, even tho i was in jr high at the time and probably shouldnt have been watching some of the stuff. So i liked when the show first started and they had some updates from the original characters. I wish they would still have jennie garth on it sometimes.

I was a teenager when the original was on and I watch this one too! I like it a lot. I still watch the original on soapnet too.

I'm 48, and my DH is 50. WE *LOVE* the OLD Beverly Hills 90210, and bought the entire series on DVD. We watched the entire 10 year run from 1990-2000 when it was on Fox (and yes, we were 28 and 30 when it started, and we still liked it).

It's our guilty pleasure! We've even got our 17 y/o DD hooked on it ... she wishes she could find a guy like Brandon, haha!

I tried getting into the new series, but I just lost interest. I did like seeing the characters from the old series on there though.

I tried to watch the new one when it first came out, but I just couldn't get into it. I loved the old one. Even had my hair cut like Brenda's with the bangs.

the old 90210 was a REALLY great show, until the last year or two. i tried to watch the new one, and just couldn't get into it. it's a pale imitation of the original, IMHO.

I'm 27. I was little when the original series was on and so I didn't watch it, I watched kid shows so a show about teens seemed like a grown up show to me (although I did watch saved by the bell, which had teens, but that show was geared more toward kids).
I haven't tried to watch the original series since then but I think if I tried to see it now I would just be distracted by the big hair and awful clothes.
The new series is fun though

I haven't tried to watch the original series since then but I think if I tried to see it now I would just be distracted by the big hair and awful clothes.
The new series is fun though

The hair wasn't that big and the clothes weren't that bad

Seriously? I'm 28 and watched it for years. Maybe I had bad parents, I guess.. But I don't see how you'd write the series off as as "adult" show completely. It was on for a decade, right?

Thinking about it, I'm pretty sure my younger sister even watched! We had all the 90210 Barbie dolls. We watched Rugrats too, so not all "boring" stuff.
