Beverages on cruise?

Sodas outside of your sit down meals, Specialty Coffees/Drinks (Smoothies), and Alcoholic drinks are the only beverages that you'll have to pay for while onboard.....you can buy an unlimited soda package at $15 for the 3 night, $20 for the 4 night, and $35 for the 7 night cruise ...... Andy

Beverages are included at mealtimes. (Topsiders buffet has fruit punch, tea, coffee and milk, but no soda.) Soda is available (in addition to coffee and tea) in the dining rooms.

A soda 'sticker' is available for purchase (35.00 for a 7day) that permits unlimited refills for the duration of the cruise.

I haven't cruised this year yet, so I can't be exact about the above price. I've also heard that the 'soda mug' is an optional purchase now. Sodas are available in all bars and Pluto's dog house and Pinocchio's pizza.

Can you get bottled water free or is there a fee involved there too? ANd do you recall what kind of diet soda they had?

The bottled water is not free, you can get a case(24 bottles) of Evian for $30 versus buying bottles individually at $1.50 + a 15% auto gratuity ..... Andy

Karebear, I believe they had diet coke. Make sure you calculate how many sodas you might drink in a day and decide whether or not it is worth it for you to get the soda mug. And don't forget it is free with sitdown meals. Im not sure but, Im think the price of a soada is around $1.50. Someone please correct me if im wrong.

There is a beverage station on Deck 9 near Topsiders. It offers complimentary coffee, tea, hot chocolate, water milk and lemonde. It's also easy enough to make your own iced tea by using the tea "fixings". The quality of the water onboard ship is virtually the same as bottled water. We are big bottled water drinkers and found the onboard water to be just fine.

With all of the options on the beverage station we found we did not need to buy any drinks during the day. Those who wanted it had soda with our sit-down meals when there was no charge.

As Michelemouse said. I was skeptical about the quality of the water at the drink station too and was happily surprised. It was bottle water quality. no aftertaste no chorine, nothing but that cold pure water taste. Don't waste your money on buying water on or off the ship. They also have orange juice and apple juice. Also the iced tea is not sweetened, my kids hated it. If you absolutely have to have soda, fill up on it at the sit down meals. I think the soda sticker purchase is only for hard core soda people.

I'll chime in with the others... the water at the Deck 9 beverage station was surprisingly good. And I tend to be picky about these things. I wheeled several cases of bottled water onboard. I wouldn't do that again.

As many others do we usually bring some beverages on to save money. I think many do.
