Beverages and the new Airport Regs

Just wondering...with the new airport regulations in effect, have there been any problems with stashing bottles of liquor?

I have a bottle of Tropico (an orange liqueur which I understand may no longer be made) which I want to pack in my suitcase but don't want to get hassled by airline security in NYC.

I don't know what the new regs are in reference to bottled liquor in your suitcase. Heck, it may not even be an issue.

Any experiences?

my DD packed everything to make herself cosmopolitans in a double ziplock bag and put it in her suitcase. Everything was fine- no problem at airport or terminal. Also a # of people were carrying back liquor boxes from cozumel and other areas onto the plane as their carry ons. Have fun!
