Apparently Betty is very receptive about hosting if she were to be offered. No word from Lorne Michaels yet. If he doesn't cast her, he will regret it. This would be a rating bonanza! Can you imagine how many people, young and old would watch it!

Good question. My theory is that her fans (young and old) would love to see her on the show as a sort of tribute to her career. She's a comedian and the exposure she would get on the show would well deserved. I think it makes sense. After being in show business for EIGHT decades, she has done just about everything..except SNL. So I'm keeping my fingers crossed

Love Betty White. She has impecable comedic timing. I also think she is timeless. She would be so dang funny on SNL... even with some of the badly written skits.

I don't know what her secret is, but she needs to find a way to bottle it up. The woman doesn't age a bit!!! I'm sure she'd do a fantastic job of hosting SNL. I doubt I'd watch because I don't watch much TV, but I'm sure she'd have a huge following.
