Better Waterslide new GF or New Poly?

Trying to decide whether to stay at GF or Polynesian. Which has the better "New Slide"? Also which one is decorated better for Haloween?

The volcano pool slide has a section that's enclosed and red (like a volcano I guess) with a few turns. Can't speak to the GF slide, but of course Stormalong Bay at Yacht and Beach Club is the best pool ever!

I don't recall Halloween decorations in the resorts too much. We attend MNSSHP and enjoy that a lot.

I've stayed at both resorts and personally I'd pick the GF slide over the Poly slide. The Poly slide is almost completely enclosed and actually gets PITCH BLACK for a couple of seconds, which could be scary for some kids. It also is very fast and has many twist and turns and is kind of jerky IMO. The GF slide is a fun slide and isn't too fast and scary. Neither slide will be decorated for Halloween, so that shouldn't be a consideration.

What age group are you looking for? The Volcano Pool slide is very curvy, and fast - perfect for those tweeners and teens, who are looking for a more thrilling pool time. Although it is no Stormalong Bay - my 3 girls, ages 7, 13, and 14 LOVED the Volcano Pool - both the slide and the waterfall! These are definitely better for stronger swimmers, although the slide does exit in shallow water - I didn't even go under! The Volcano pool does have zero entry for the beginner swimmers as well, as does the GF.
