Better view of fireworks??

Where is there a better view of fireworks? California Grill or Ohana (beach)? We're definately hoping to get reservations at both, but I just need to figure out which one to schedule during the Pirates and Princess Party! We're not going to go to the party, but I'd still love to see the fireworks!

I think the better view of the fireworks is from the beach at the Poly. You are at ground level and nearly centered. At California Grill, you are up high and off centered to the right.
Restaurant wise, it's not even a contest. California Grill is much the better spot.

Cool! I'm definately planning on getting reservations for both during fireworks, but since I'll prob see Wishes from inside the park too at some point, I wanted to schedule the better place for Pirates and Princess fireworks! Thanks!

Ohana is straight across from the magic kingdom. We had excellent view.

We stay at the Polynesian so have easy access to the Polynesian beach.

That said, between the two I would choose the observation deck at California Grill. The music is much louder there and to me it is an essential part of the show.

My family loves watching from the beach at the Poly, but last trip I preferred to jump on the monorail and head over to MK to see it in person.

Well when it comes to the view at the California Grill you can see all of the Magic Kingdom and at the Ohana or the Polynesian beach it would just be a view of Cinderella's Castle.

Someone please correct me if I'm wrong but I don't think there are going to be any Pirate & Princess Parties next year. Of course seeing regular Wishes is always fun too.

i found a schedule on here for 2009 pirate and princess party dates... unless it was wrong?

There was a schedule for the parties but the parties for the beginning of the year have been canceled. There have been some posts that say that there will be parties starting in April.
