Better Time to GO?

Regarding free dining ... the last two Febs have had Stay, Play, & Dine which winds up being similar in cost to free dining. We've used it the last two stays and it saved us hundreds over no discount. For the price of a non-discounted AoA room, you can probably stay at a moderate resort. And if it is during free dining or S/P/D, you wouldn't have to pay to upgrade to DDP from the QS plan. Just something else to consider.

Feb 2012 I stayed at WL with free dining.

How many months in advance do they announce when free dining and this stay. play and dine?

Probably around May for fall and much later for Feb. Feb 2013 was the first S/P/D. It must have been successful b/c they did it again this winter. September seems to get the free dining instead, but they could of course change that any time. I agree with the person who said there's no harm in booking and then adding a discount to your reservation. Just be aware of your cancellation window. The deposit is the same no matter what.
