Iberia codeshare, you will actually fly on BA planes direct Gatwick to MCO

Our dates 5th-28th August are showing at £641 adult £509 child.

Hi Wayne, just priced this up for us (two adults, one adult daughter 12, and one child son 9) with Quidco through Opodo its £2294. 18th Aug to 1st Sept. Really tempted to book it.

But as always - will it go lower? :confused3

That seems a great price for August school hols. Schools don't go back til 5th or 6th Sept.

Prices look really good through Opodo!

How does booking a codeshare work with things like prebooking seats? Twilight Check In etc?

For direct flights I can't see you getting a better price. Exactly the same seats but booking direct with BA will cost £ 3,176.40, same route & dates with VA GBP 3,367.40, cheapest charter into SFB £3086.41
If its the route & dates you want I would book at that price, but don't look again.:rotfl2:

No idea with BA codeshare but all others I have done I have had no problems prebooking seats.

Booked it - yeeehaaa. Price of £2,319.40 less 1.5% (Quidco) so £2,284.61.
Let the planning begin.

That's warmed up a very cold winter night.

Thanks for your advice everyone.

Better get my ticker updated.

Great news. We are there 5th-28th August (cruise 21st-25th)
Will be arranging at least 1 DISmeet so hope we get to meet up.

Thanks for the heads up on this Wayne!!

I just priced up my flights for the Disney ICP June 19th - Sept 2nd, and it was £475 direct :goodvibes:goodvibes

BARGAIN :)

I priced this up through STA travel though (student friendly ;)). I can't find the flight on Iberia's website though :confused:

Think I may have to book this....

£475 is a bargain Beth, I wouldn't hesitate at that price. £505 with Opodo

Doesn't look like you can book these with Iberia, only thru agents, strange way but nothing suprises me with flight bookings.

£475 on the condition that I'm under 26 and have a student card - which I am and do, so that's sorted!

Just waiting so I can use my Dad's credit card rather than using my debit card. OOooo - I forgot how exciting it is booking flights :goodvibes:goodvibes

I read recently you are not covered under section 75 if you use someone elses credit card. Something I didn't know.

Again Wayne, thanks for the heads-up! It seems you are only covered under section 75 if the product you are buying benefits the cardholder.

Something worth knowing :goodvibes

Thats interesting, i didnt know that either.

I always book all of our flights on my credit card - i assume therefore as im in the travelling party if anything should happen everyones flights woul be covered?

If you are travelling as a party then you should be all covered (maybe check to confirm) the problem I believe is if the cardholder is nothing to do with the purchase, ie Beth using her Dad's card if he is not flying with her.
I am no expert on this, its only something I read a few days ago.

You're right Wayne! If I was using it to buy a flight for him as a present or something, then it would be fine, as he would be benefiting from the transaction. But if it were used just to buy a flight for me alone, then like you said, no protection :goodvibes

Explains it well on Martin Money Saving Expert's webpages!

hey guys

just wondered how you manage to get them prices? I'm seeing approx. £200 off the ones you mention.

Looking to book in august, but looking for the best deal :)

if you can help that would be great, and much appriciated :cool1:

thank you

Hi, what dates you looking for?
Offers change all the time, last few weeks there as been indirect into airports like Jacksonville, Fort Lauderdale (& others) from about £360pp but I think the offer ended yesterday.

Hello

Thank you for taking your time to reply :).

I'm looking from the 3rd August for 2-3 weeks (depending on price difference.).

I've made a thread (can't link yet due to under 10 posts) in this section (UK Trip Planning Forum) if you could help? Thank you once again,
