Better mini golf - fantasia gardens or winter summerland?

Can only comment on the winter/summerland golf course. We did the "winter" side when we went on our trip in December and we loved it! All the holes had some sort of "interaction" feature (ex. one hole when you got it in the snowman squirted water on you!). Very fun for my family....have 2 DS ages 8 and 3 1/2 at the time and they really enjoyed it!

Many people have commented on these boards about loving the Fantasia golf course but we have never tried it.....maybe on our trip in 4 weeks from today!!!!!

Fantasia Gardens wins in a walk... especially if you are a fan of the movie. The theming is excellent - there are several holes for each segment of the movie.

We went to Fantasia Gardens in '99, then in 2001, we decided to try Winter Summerland. After playing it, we felt let down, so we went immediately from there to play Fantasia. Twice.

Its not that WS Land is bad, but there are nice surprises at Fantasia (watch out for Chernabog!).

We prefer Fantasia Gardens. If it would help, I have pix from Fantasia Gardens and the winter side of Winter-Summerland.

DH and I would vote for WS. I love the background music, the Christmas feeling. Its fun. But, should probably try Fantasia Gardens again, its been awhile.
My one complaint was last year on the Summer side, we had an unwelcomed player - a black racer snake crossed our path. I finished the game standing on rocks

We have never tried W/S but we played Fantasia Gardens and it was a blast. We had a great time and it was a nice diversion from the parks but still very Disney - the theming is done very well.

I don't have any personal experience with this but I have heard that the W/S course is better for families (maybe it is easier?).

I have played at both Fantasia Gardens and Winter Summerland. I like them both and don't have a favorite. I've done Fantasia Gardens twice and the Winter side of Winter Summerland once. If you can only do one I would choose by what you would want for themeing, Fantasia or Christmas.

I personally thought that Fantasia was a little harder than Winter Summerland. They both are themed well and fun so I don't think you'll be dissapointed no matter which one you choose.

We've played them both and prefer Winterland/Summerland. It is more colorful and I love the Christmas theme.

Yes, Winter Summerland is at Blizzard Beach.

Fantasia Gardens is across from the Swan and Dolphin. It's easiest to get to if you can drive. If you have to take Disney buses their recommendation is to go to Downtown Disney (or another park) and get a bus to Swan and Dolphin and the walk over to Fantasia Gardens. I don't know how easy it is to go that route as I have only driven to Fantasia Gardens.

They are both good but I found Fantasia Gardens to be HARD and i'm good at mini-golf. It was still fun but if you have little kids or less experienced players, you might want to go to W/SL
