This is my first EVER trip report, so I'm sure it won't be all that exciting. More of a learning experience for me, so if anyone is interested......please feel free to read on!
The crew: Kim (me), Jay (DH), Emilie (DD5), Jake (DS3)
Also: Candi (my younger sis), Ray (her DH), RJ (DS6), Ryan (DS3), Kyle (DS10 months)
Also: Coreen (my mom) and Carrie (my older sis)
Ok, that's all of us. We stayed at the OKW in a 2 bedroom unit (Candi & my family) and mom & Carrie stayed in a studio unit (they were the smart ones!!!) Both rooms were at the Turtle Pond bus stop, which we liked a lot.
We arrived in MCO at 9:15am on 10/10, wonderful flight with no problems. Used Southern Elegance mini-bus for transportation. Utilized the fax-ahead option from Albertsons for our grocery stop (not thrilled with the outcome...too many mistakes with our order). Arrived at OKW around 10:30 & our rooms were not ready. Had bell services hold all 30+ of our bags (including groceries) and headed out to MK!!!
We arrived in the MK by 12 noon, and it was PACKED (Columbus Day weekend)!!!! We ate lunch at Cosmic Rays, which in our opinion is ALWAYS good. We didn't do too much...Buzz, CoP, Haunted Mansion...not too many more if any. We ate dinner at the Columbia Harbor House and then went back to OKW to get settled in by 8:30. We were all really tired by then, since we were at the airport checking in at 5am that morning.
