better deals after final payment

We are staying at B.C. in November and our final payment is due the middle of August. Can we still get a Disney Club rate ( we are members) or a promo rate if our room is already paid in full and a better rate comes out in Sept. or Oct.

Hmmm, that is a very early final payment due date. If you have a Disney Club Basic Plan (room only) final payment should not be due until 21 days prior, and you can cancel any time up to 5 days prior without penalty. Even if you had a package withOUT Disney Club the final payment would not be due until 45 days in advance. I would check on that final payment due date again and make sure your reservation is for the correct dates.

Sorry you are right. My final payment is due the end of Sept. Can I still get a better rate though after my final payment?

The answer is yes BUT....

It sounds like you have a standard WDTC reservation that is due 45 days out. If you have, not only is the final payment due then but a $50 penalty for any changes will take effect starting then, too. So your resort savings had better be more than the $50 penalty you'll pay.
