Better day of the week to go

Ok, I know it is hit or miss on crowd levels. But does anyone have any advice on if a Tuesday or Wednesday would be a little less crowded. We are looking at either going August 1st of 2nd. We want to go when the most possible stuff is going on even if we have to brave the bigger crowd.

Go to www.touringplans.com. There is a crowd blog that is excellent, you can see there the best days to go depending on the time of year.
I'm using their recommendations, don't know if works but it made sense to me!
