1) There have been executive chefs spending time in the QS eateries.
2) There have been lot of complaints about the burgers.
. . . dry
. . . cold
. . . hard
. . . plus, the nasty buns
3) The chefs are devoting full days talking to CM's and guests.
4) Hopefully, this will result in better burgers.
5) The quality has certainly went downhill in the past 2-years.

Not counting on it. I believe they cannot afford to serve quality burgers at QS on the dining plan without drastically upping the price of the plan (which, it appears, they may be doing since I have seen a number of people being inexplicably quoted $39.99 a night for the QS plan)

Does a quality burger actually cost that much?

Aren't most of the burger baskets about $10.

Maybe they should start by talking to the people at BK, Wendys or McD's. They manage to serve pretty tasty burgers to the masses at a reasonable price.

Even McD's value burger is better than what we were served at Cosmic Ray's.

The first time we paid for the DDP in 2006 it was $36.99 per day, and included for the TS appetizer, tax and tip. Now the counter-service only DDP is more expensive than that. They can afford to serve better products, they just choose not to.

Haven't they already been putting "specialty" burgers in some of the CS locations,if I recall I had a burger with avocado or guac I think at Epcot, either in the American pavillion or the Electric Umbrella, maybe it was at DHS I'm not sure but nonetheless we also saw several other CS locations that had other specialty burgers,I know ABC Commissary had a burger with a fried shrimp on top and another location had a burger with Gouda.

I havent had a bad burger in WDW altho I normally only get them at Pecos Bills. I would like the buns to change tho.

Id rather they keep the meat the same to keep cost down, the fact that they may be sometimes dry, cold or hard isnt the meat its over cooking and letting it sit there..
