Better burger- Pecos Bill or Cosmic Ray's?

The burgers are about the same, so maybe you could go with the place that you are nearest at the time. However, if I'd pick Cosmic Rays, I'd get the chicken/Rib combo.

One difference...Cosmic Rays does not offer a Burger on the Kid's Menu (They offer Turkey sandwich instead). Pecos Bills does offer a Kid's Burger, so we go there instead.

I'm a vegetarian, so I couldn't personally comment. However, DH had a burger from Peco Bills last Sunday night and was sick all day Monday! not pleasant!!! Had lunch in Cosmic Rays the week before and was fine!

The Cs burgers are essentially the SAME.We prefer Cosmic rays simply for the atmosphere and it is not as dark inside as Pecos Bills

I loved the burger at Cosmis Ray's. I went to Pecos Bill's and was very disappointed but on our last trip, we went to Cosmic Ray's on a whim since CHH was already closed for the night. The burger I had tasted fresh (not frozen) and was very tasty. It was either really good or I was starving!

I had to laugh out loud at this.

Quiet...nope not for us it wasn't. This place was packed like sardines when we ate there.
Seriously, people were hovering like vulchers for your table and stool.
Fights were breaking out about what stool went with what table....it was insanity.

I do like it over Ray's though. I like the atmosphere better.

They are both super yummy, but the 1rst place I get a WDW burger is Pecos Bills. They have cheese sauce for my fries & I get to put 3 tomatoes on my sandwich!! Those 2 things makes this my #1 fav. place to eat in all of WDW! Really, better than anything fancy to me. I try to eat @ Cosmic Ray as well b/c they are so much alike. I'd go w/ ur fav. theme! They both rock!! Enjoy!!!

Does Cosmic Ray not have tomatos on their toppings bar??

When it comes to burgers I prefer Pecos Bills. Probably because they have the deluxe cheeseburger with bacon, BBQ sauce and onion rings But for some reason, I think their fixins bar is better.

I have to ask... is the cheese just regular american or is it something else?

If you go in the off season and an off time, there is something very peaceful and nice about Pecos Bill when it's empty. You can have that rare feeling of being alone but in Disney World. Plus, I love the mushrooms.

Cosmic Rays was my family's favorite for over 15 yrs, but the buns that we had there last month were horrible. I wish Disney gave us a choice of a standard white hamburger roll or a whole wheat roll. The rolls we had were hard as hockey pucks on the outside with a texture was like sawdust. Not sure I'd go back. All the buns are that bad. DD17 loves getting burgers from resort CS but after one on the first night she never wanted another.

I'd pick Pecos Bill's for their Angus deluxe burger. That's the best burger I've ever had on property.

Sadly a great burger is hard to find now at WDW. The buns they use are nasty and we find ourselves throwing part of them away. Now when we want a great burger we drive off property.

That actually sounds very good and might give me a reason to go back and eat there. Besides the fixins bar do you happen to know if Pecos Bills also has the hot cheese sauce like at Cosmic Ray's?

Standard burger at both places. Same exact burger through all of disney. Like the atmosphere at both, but like eating at an original at MK. I vote Pecos Bill!!
