BestWestern DTD or Hilton DTD?

I am going to visit my daughter (working on the college program) 12/1-12/7. I can get the bestwestern for $51+resort fee+tax= $66 or the Hilton $65+Parking+tax= $84. I would like to know which one you guys think is the better deal. I have stayed at the bestwestern, love the balconies, but the rest is just soso. I have never stayed at the hilton, but love the fact that it is so close to DTD. Thanks in advance for your input.

I have stayed at the BW also, same opinion. Not overly impressed with everything except the views and balconies. I would love to try the Hilton and think it is the better deal. It is usually much more expensive than the BW and you can actually walk over to DTD very easily. I think it is a higher scale resort than BW.

for under $20 a night more, I would choose the Hilton. It is a very nice hotel. If you are just sleeping and not spending any time at the hotel and the $20 makes a difference, then pick the BW. But, to me, for $20, that is a no-brainer. Elaine

I have stayed at the Hilton in at the WDWR near DTD twice and it is one of the nicest hotels (and one of the nicer Hiltons!) that I have had the pleasure of staying at. Love everything about it, have never had a problem, and highly recommend it.

the hilton is the only DD hotels that provides EMH - so that is definitely worth $20 to me.

Where did you find the $65 price? I have been finding it for $87 + fees. I am going 12/19 - 12/21.
