Stitch woke me up at 7 AM and I was ever so excited, becos it was Epcot day!
We got there at 8:40 AM and stood in line until the gates opened at 9. Meandered around Future World for a bit and ended up at The Living Seas.
I was excited for Turtle Talk with Crush, I had planned to ask Crush to marry me, but unfortunately he started the talk with an anecdote about his wife so I figured I'd better not
He did call on Sinatra though, who asked him what turtles eat. We learned that they eat a lot of sea grass and that's what makes their shells green. You really do learn something new every day. I forgot all about my unrequited love for Crush when I met this guy in the shark room:
We then walked right on to Imagination - so few crowds today, it was awesome - and took a picture of ourselves in the Kodak Image Labs thingy at the end of the ride
And of course, one of Mr. Vacuum
He is a fancy chicken. Next we were off to the world showcase, where I decided to ingest one of these:
As a result, I only kind of remember going on El Rio del Tiempo (i do know that I probably irritated everyone else in the boat by singing along to the song in the Day of the Dead room, "HOLA MI AMIGOS, LA LA LA LA LA!!!") and Maelstorm. I also found this candy in the Norwegian gift shop to be so extremely hilarious I wanted my picture with it.
Ha ha! Non Stop indeed!!!
We meandered through the other countries, I was very excited for France becos I had told Jax I would ask Belle to send her a postcard. One of the girls working in the perfume store (where I, still a little buzzed, coated myself in some fragrance, which was not one of my better ideas in life) told us she would be arriving soon, so I waited outside for a bit until Belle and Aurora appeared to pose for pictures outside of the pavilion. When it was my turn I ran up to her and said "Himissbellemyfriendlovesyoubutshecouldn'tbeheresowillyousignthispostcardforher???" She did and was supersweet. Awww. Mr. Vacuum loves France too.
We walked by Test Track but there was a 60 minute wait and neither of us like it enough to bother so we went to MS, which only had a 5 minute wait. I love this ride, it is so relaxing. When we got off we saw a teenage girl who must have closed her eyes during the ride becos she was sitting on a bench with her hands on her head crying and looked like she was in pain. Eek. It was almost 6 by then, so we were off to Japan for our PS. First we stopped to watch Matsuriza outside. The food was okay, but the chef, a woman whose name I don't remember, was so much fun. I had the shrimp. Our waitress, Mitsy, was also awesome and made me an origami kimono with a design drawn on it in marker. I was so excited. We stopped in the UK to watch British Invasion for a bit. Then hopped on the Friendship boat as we still had a couple hours to kill before Illuminations. We went to Beaches and Cream since neither of us had ever been and had ice cream. wooo!!
That resort is so beautiful, we wandered around for a while before heading back to Epcot. After Illuminations, which is our favouritest fireworks show in the universe (maybe becos we both used to work at it when we were CPs) we were tired but some of Sinatra's college friends wanted us to meet them for a movie. So we drove to Supernice Guy's house again and met some of Sinatra's other friends, and all of us drove to CityWalk. CityWalk was SO crowded, I think they had some sort of Mardi Gras thing going on. We saw Robots, which was great, but I felt bad becos I coughed through the whole thing. Luckily nobody punched me in the face.
Still to come: We are sleepy! We are sick! We are getting rained on!
