We're already going to book Akershus for breakfast for reminiscing reasons :rotfl2: Ever since, my parents have teased me about it and I've wanted to go back.

Anyway, we're doing Deluxe Dining and I've got all of our ADRs mostly planned out (it would be lovely to get May hours) and we're going to wind up with one extra meal, so I'm going to use it at breakfast...but I don't know where!

So, what are all of your favorites and least favorites (besides Akershus) for breakfast? If you can tell me, why?

Any help would be much appreciated!

Best Breakfast has to go to Boma...it is just out of this world! Runner up is Cape May, awesome food too but bonus with characters.

Worst Breakfast was Spoodles...it was just terrible over cooked super greasy food! Runner up is 1900 PF, way too loud and chaotic and the food really wasnt that great

I have hear Ohanas if a good breakfast and character meal...I'll find out the 24th. Also Donald's Safari Breakfast, but you have to have park admission.

I can only think of 3 Good TS Breakfast.

Ohanas--3 times going on 4--our favorite (I enjoy the
atmosphere, food and ease of hopping on the monorail, the characters)
I dream of staying at the POly but can't afford it
so we visit and eat at Ohanas every trip and take a
tour around the resort.

Tusker House--tryed this for the 1st time last trip and
really enjoy it. I liked the food choices, the theme
and convenience while at AK. We want to eat there again
this next Trip.

Boatwrights (while staying at POR) eaten here 2 times and love
the stuffed Banana French Toast, Eggs Benidicit
and Lost Bread (Cinnimon French Toast).

I loved Hollywood and Vine at DHS. Great food, excellent service, not too crowded and lots for my DD to do (sing/dance..staff was soooo good getting the kids involved).
Runner up, Crystal Palace in MK

Worst was Tusker House. I hated the food, but loved the characters.
Runner up, 1900 Park Fare. Same reasons as posted above. Food not great and very crowded and loud.

We love Kona Cafe. It's nothing too fancy, but we really like the food and the coffee!

IMO...

Best Breakfast - Tusker House - good food, excellent service, best character interaction I have experienced in all of Disney :)

Worst Breakfast - Chef Mickey's - everything was swimming in grease. :(

Best: CP, Kona, Captain's Grille (quiet with a large buffet selection) and Tusker House

Worst: Chef Mickey's and Cape May (yawn! not truly bad just boooooring food)

To everyone else, thank you SO MUCH for the input and suggestions. There were several here I hadn't even thought of trying. There are so many conflicting recommendations here though there were a couple of consistencies. There are just so many restaurants to pick from that it makes things just so confusing! I shall do some more research, especially on the restaurants I hadn't even thought about (Boma, for instance).

Thank you again!

When we went in November I'd say our favorite breakfast was Askershush. :) Which you are already doing. Our next was O'Hanas & 1900 Park Fare. We also went to Tusker - and it was okay, but we enjoyed the other 3 (Askershush, O'hanas & 1900 PF) much more.

I've never been to Cape May. Although you can't jump on a monorail after Cape May (should you choose that place) you could take a boat to DHS and Epcot. So if you have particular plans for that day - you might consider location of the ADR and what park you plan on hitting afterwards.

If you are doing MK after this particular meal, there is even Crystal Palace for a convenient location, as well as WCC just a boat ride away. We've not been to CP at all - and only WCC for dinner. But they both seem to get good reviews for breakfast.

Good luck deciding!!

We've done CRT, Akershus, Chef Mickey, Whispering Canyon, and Donald's Safari breakfast and we liked Donald's the best. It's at Animal Kingdom and they have Donald, Daisy, Mickey and Goofy. My DD loved it because it was one of the only places she got to see Daisy...who she loves!

Best: Boma- food was fantastic and the service was even better.
Runner up- 1900 Park- we didn't mind the loudness we were in Disney at a Character Breakfast not Victoria and Alberts. The food was also fine seeing how it IS a buffet.

Worst- Captain Cooks- while we enjoyed it at other times breakfast was truly chaotic and they really don't have enough seating for such a large resort

Best: Toss up between Boma and Kona (depending on what you're in the mood for). Best Character Breakfast, IMO, is Crystal Palace

Worst Breakfast: Chef Mickey's. The atmosphere is fun, but the food is AWFUL.

We found Tusker House to be one of the best! IF you are looking for a meal in AK.........I would suggest you try this breakfast!
