Best Western Raffles hotel?

Hey everybody! I have a few questions. I'm planning a trip for me and three of my friends to Disneyland in June 2012 for our Graduation trip. :cool1:
We've been looking for Hotels and trying to find a cheap but nice hotel that's within Walking distance. After searching for quite a while, I came along the Best Western Raffles hotel and it seems like the perfect choice. It's pretty cheap and it's only a block from Disneyland which means we wouldn't have to pay more for parking every day.
I know the hotel is newly renovated and has free breakfast which is a huge plus.
So, my question is, has anybody stayed there had a terrible experience I should know about? It seems like the perfect choice, we don't need anything too fancy but we also don't want to stay in a dive.

My other question is, are the crowds going to be absolutely terrible in mid-June? I know it's the start of the summer, but are the crowds going to be something that is a total downer?

Thank you in advance!

Nope, no horror stories. We stayed there for our first few trips back in '05 and '06. The rooms are nice, basic, spacious. The walk is at least 15 minutes to the gate, but do-able when you're young. Once we had kids we stopped staying so far since lugging kids that far is a pain. :headache: But for three spring chickens just graduating you should be fine!
Sometimes at the end of the night if our feet were sore we'd grab a cab for about $8. There's ART too on the way in its nice and direct, on the way back just hop off across the street. I think we used ART one year, then the next year we just walked/cabbed when tired.
Congratulations on graduating and have a great trip!

Edited to add: if you want really cheap and really basic (like dorm room basic but clean), there's also the Super 8 over by the Marriott Residence Inn which is ever so slightly closer (like a 13 minute walk) and cheaper (a friend of ours once got it for $50/night). BW Raffles is more nicely furnished though.

As for it being crowded in June, Carsland is scheduled to open late June. It's kind of hard to judge without having the actual dates that it opens.
