Hi, just wondering if anyone has ever stayed here? If so, how was it? How far away from disney is it? Please tell me anything.

We stayed there in 1997. It's on the sourthern end of IDrive close to the Mercado and just a little up from the Pointe Orlando.

We found it a nice hotel, clean if a little basic - but nice enough for the little time you actually spend in your room

It consists of 3 large blocks which surround the pool area. There a kiddie pool and hot tub. There is also a pool bar and coin operated laundry.

I believe there are a number of room types including a 'suite' type with cooking facilities.

There are plenty of places to eat within walking distance, including a Friendly's right next door and Tony Roma's a few minutes up the road.
We found it an ideal location on IDrive. You can also use the I-Ride shuttle to get up to Belz or down to Seaworld if you don't fancy driving.

The hotel offers a free shuttle service to WDW. We used this and it took about 20-30 minutes to get the TTC, depending on traffic.

We stayed here in october 2001. The best about it is the location, close to the Mercado and restaurants. Rooms were ok, not more. It was very easy to hear people walking outside our door, isolation problem? Nice pool. Reception area has seen better times, bet it hasn't been done anything with it since the 80's.
Price was good; got a 42.95$ rate when ordering from the net, official site. But my experience from this is: you get what you pay.

The best "bargain and quality" Hotel we stayed at was on Universal Blvd, at the Country Inn and Suites, for only 39 it was a scoop.
