Does anyone have any opinions on this hotel? Good or bad?
We picked it because it is so close to the crosswalk. I'm looking for CLEAN rooms and polite staff.
We are booked through Disney travel for Oct. 21-26th. We have never been at this time, hoping to avoid large crowds.
Thanks for any help!:D

I stayed there for the first time in January and found it to be fine. The staff was polite, not overly friendly. The room was clean. The first night our toilet ran all night. I called about it the next day and it was fixed by the time we got back from the parks at the end of the day. On thing that bugged me was we arrived early and our room was not ready. The front desk said they would hold our luggage while we went to the park. They gave us claim tickets, but when we came back that evening our bags were still sitting in the lobby where the front desk clerk had left them hours before. Anyone could have taken them as they weren't locked up at all.

The free breakfast was nothing to rave about, but it got you going at least. It was bagels, cereal, juice. They seemed to run low on things quick and the tables weren't bussed very often. You can't beat the location, very convenient. My next trip I'm staying at Candy Cane Inn which is a long block away. I prefer CCI over the Park Place Inn, but would stay at PPI again if CCI was not available.

We stayed there many years ago and really liked it. It was very convenient, and the room was quite large for just 2 people. We had a room on the bottom floor real close to the front of the hotel, which was nice, and frequently were able to park right outside our front door. The room was clean and nice, can't remember what the staff was like so long ago (but I'd bet most of them aren't there anymore anyway!).

I have not opinons of it but my kids are staying there right now with their dad and step family.

Thanks you guys for helping. Does anyone have any room preferences? I'd like to stay on the top floor. I'm not quite sure of the hotel layout. Is there a view of any kind? Where ever we end up will be fine, it just seems that we always get the not so great rooms for some reason!

We stayed there a year and a half ago. It was really nice - clean, big rooms. They are like suites - they have a big bed and then an area separated off with a couch and chairs and table. We also had a fridge and microwave and coffee maker.
There really is no view to speak of from it. We had a bottom floor, very close to the street, which was fine noise wise.
The best part about it is that it is right at the pedestrian walkway.
5 minute walk and you are in the parks.
The free breakfast was not much to speak of - from what i remember it was either continental upstairs or pancakes downstairs. The pancakes were actually very good, but if you get extras (eggs, bacon, etc.), it costs.
We would stay there again.
There are other threads on this board that have comments about the hotel if you're interested.
Have a great trip!!!

OR you can also get a room with two double(queen) beds, and the sofa bed. Take a look at the Park Place Inn Website
