We (DH and DS2) are planning a trip for November and cannot decide. Usually we stay at BWPPI, but with my parents coming along this time, we would need 2 rooms (they snore... really loud!) So, our current choices are BWPPI for $1002 (2 king rooms) or Castle Inn for $879 (family suite). I have come up with a list of pros and cons for each:

BWPPI
Pros: Location, 2 rooms= more space, 2 full bathrooms, Continental Breakfast, Sofa bed (much easier to box DS2 in so he doesn't fall off)
Cons: $123 more total & $40 for parking, No guarantee for connecting rooms

Castle Inn
Pros: $123 less & Free parking, Everyone is able to fit in 1 room with a door (but how sound proof will the door be?)
Cons: Location (longer walk and room would be at back of property), 1 bathroom (but 2 sinks), No breakfast (add approx. $60 for food)

Is there anything I am missing with these two properties? What would you do? Part of me says to go with the less expensive option, but does the convenience outweigh cost? We have walked the 8 minutes from HOJO before, but not with a toddler.

I would go for the included breakfast (if you guys will use it, it is nice to get coffee and oj at least), super close walking distance, and extra space, (especially the bathroom!) at the BWPPI.

We stayed there with a group, and while we didn't have connecting rooms, they were adjacent and that was good enough for us.

I would say that 2 bathrooms is a BIG pro. That's what would sway me to stay at BWPPI. Plus it is a good deal deal closer and with a little one that is a good thing:)

I thought Castle Inn did charge for parking.
I would opt for BWPPI due to location and breakfast. I think separate rooms may be a plus in this instance.

We loved our stay at BWPPI. If you have people who snore, it would be nice to put them in their own room, not just the other room of a suite. Having two bathrooms and free breakfast is a huge plus in my book. I would also consider privacy and "togetherness." When we go to DL with other people, I like to retreat to a room at night with just my family (DH and our two boys). We get to have time to ourselves before meeting up with everyone the next morning. I think it makes for a happier trip.

Thank you all for your input. I think the convenience of the location and extra space may outweigh the savings.

We always stay at BWPPI! We love it. The location and free breakfast make it the best place for us. We don't take a car so parking is never an issue for us. I've never stayed at the castle so I can't comment on that but we've never had a bad stay at BWPPI!! Have a great trip!!
