Hi Folks,

Staying at the BWLBV for the first time this September. There has been much banter in several discussion boards about construction at this hotel making life a bit rough.

I placed an email to their reservation desk expressing concern and was told the construction was completed in early June and the lobby is brand new, the pool area construction-free. I'd like to hear it from someone who's seen it with their own eyes. Anyone been there in the last week?

Thanks!

Pat Elliott

We are staying here for one night before we move to CBR. Would also like to know how it is.

Are they doing room renovations now? Thought I read that somwhere. That would explain why so many people are getting it for around $25 thru PL.

Is it nice enough to stay there instead of CBR for our whole time?

I stayed there for 5 nights in Jan (thru priceline @ $20 per night) & had no problems. I found the staff to be very nice...didn't treat me different because of priceline They were starting to renovate the lobby & resturants at that point. I too have emailed them on the progress of the renovations. I will also be staying there in July & Aug for 8 nights (priceline $25). They emailed me back saying that the lobby, resturant & lounge were completed. They are now working on rooms. I can imagine that if you get a room on the floor where they are working, it can be a bit noisy, but since we will be out of the room most of the day, it shouldn't be too bad to tolarate. I have 3 kids so loud noise will not bother me... LOL for $25 per night on Hotel Plaza Blvd...... I am not gonna complain!!! ;)

What rate are you paying at the best western? You could get a Disney moderate for $89 for September (or even $79 depending on what state you live in) Initially DH and I were going to stay at The Downtown Disney Courtyard but ended up with an even better rate for a Disney-owned property.

Hello All,

We stayed at the BWLBV in mid April. We thoroughly enjoyed
our stay at this hotel. we would definately stay there again.
Great location, good amenities and nice pool. It was a clean
hotel and the balconies were great for enjoying a morning coffee.

We were there during the lobby construction, there was no big
inconvienience to us at all.

I hope I was able to help, and I hope you all enjoy your stay
as much as we did.

BTW- No one approached us about timeshares and we got
this room through DreamsRes 59.00 a night.

Paid $30 per night, via P-Line, for six nights. We just don't spend much time in the hotel, or I'd go for the moderate.

We got it for 25 thru Pl for the night before we check-in to CBR.
But I think we have decided to stick with CBR for the rest of our trip, even though it will be more per night.

We have never stayed on-site before so we really want to try it this time.
