Best Western LBV. Did I Make a Mistake?

Mousesavers has a great rate on Best Western LBV in the Downtown Disney area. It's $89 a night for a Free Deluxe King Upgrade, two Pleasure Island tickets and breakfast for two every morning of your stay. My DH booked it for Dec. 2-4. Was this a bad idea? This is one of the few Downtown Disney hotels I've never stayed at. Any info would be helpful. Due to my promotion, we're able to do a little getaway for our 1st anniverary after all. I don't want it to be ruined by a bad hotel.

I am interested in any replies as well - we booked this same deal for January 23-25. Just a quick getaway for my husband and I, no kids - we are going on a cruise and thought we would do Downtown Disney,etc. for a few days before we sail. No parks, so not worried about that transportation. We really wanted to stay at Wilderness Lodge, but all standard view rooms were sold out and I didn't want to spend $300/night for a room! We have never stayed off property before so I am interested about feedback. Thanks!

Is there anyone who can give us some info on this? Anyone been there recently? I'm really getting worried about if I made a mistake or not.

My in-laws stayed there in april and were very satisfied. Can't tell you much more than that.

I stayed there in 2003 on a Priceline Bid and liked it. There were in the process of renovations at the time, but the room was large and clean, the staff very friendly and the bus service (although crowded) on time.

Free parking and walking distance to the crossroads, which is nice.

I would not hesitate to stay there again.

We stayed here about 2 years ago and thought it was fine. We usually look for the best deals because we like to go a few times a year for short stays.
It sounds like you got a great rate. The hotel is older but it has been updated somewhat. It isn't the Peabody but it sure beats Days Inn. The rooms were plenty roomy if I remember correctly. Plus the free breakfast and transportation is a plus. Pool was small but you may not get much use of it in December anyways. You should stop worrying, you will have plenty of fun.
