We're thinking of staying at Best western Lakeside in Kissimee, for 8 nights, with a 5 year old. Has anyone stayed here? Did you like it? Is this place safe?
Thanks in advance.

I'll post back in 4 weeks and let you know what we thought. We are booked for 10 nights starting 1/16. We 've never been before, but did research it on TripAdvisor and decided it looked pretty decent (especially for $34/night on Hotwire!!). Most reviews tended to be positive- clean, close to Disney, good amenities for the price, and fridge/microwaves in the rooms. The only real con I could see was the age of the resort (some said it was a bit shabby). For a WDW trip where we don't spend much time at the resort, it should be just fine.

I stayed there last month for 2 nights. It's a nice place. Nothing fancy but very convenient and clean. I've stayed there 2 other times and never had any complaints. Be aware that they have a resort of $3.50 a night.

Stayed there last January. It was a fine place to stay. Clean and comfortable.
There is also a Walgreens right next door which is very convinent. I'd stay there again.

Does anyone know how this compares to the Ramada chain? It's the 3* on Hotwire for $29-31 a night.

We stayed there in June for 3 nights with our 5 year old. It is a pretty good location not too far from the parks and lots of stuff around it. The rooms were ok nothing really fantastic but ok. The beds werent very comfy. The pool was nice. They charge a daily "resort fee" a few bucks a day just so you know. They are big on trying to sell time shares there. They will solicit you when they can. We actually are down here right now and staying just down the road form the Best Western at the Days Inn Maingate Black Lake rd. (it was much cheaper this time). It is ok the pool is gross but people are swimming in it! :( The rooms are nice though 42" plasma tv and comfy beds. If you dont care about the pool it is pretty good. I dont know how much I would want to stay at either one again, but if you dont plan to be in the room much they are ok. We stayed at the buena vista courtyard marriott before and it was great but more pricey. Hope this helps!
