Best week for a trip in May 2007?

Anyone have a recommendation for which week in May 2007 would be best for a trip? My dad has a timeshare outside of the World and we'd like to plan a family trip there in May. Right now, the week is open for discussion. Are there any weeks in May that are bad (maybe Mem day?)? I know flower and graden might be going on as well as Star Wars weekends -- are there dates out for those already? Any suggestions? Thanks!

We went the 2nd week of May this year. It was busier than I expected, but still not bad at all. Weather was warm, but not unbearable. If I had to pick again, I would do the 1st or 2nd week in May. Some schools start getting out mid May.

As early as possible... spring breaks are over, and school is still in session - for awhile. Every week you get into May just means more students getting out of class, plus hotter weather. By Memorial Day, forget about it, you're in the summer season. I'd go the first week of May if possible.

We stayed at the BWV and after the Holiday weekend was over things calmed down at the resort. :thumbsup2

The parks were busy, but we got there at opening and took afternoon breaks and we managed to do everything that we wanted. We used FP alot!!!

The only bad thing is you are so rushed to get everything fit in and with so many people it is just not relaxing... :guilty:

I prefer the week before Memorial day!! I don't regret going though! We had a blast!! It was pretty warm, but not unbearable and we only had a few showers all week.

The Boardwalk area was great in the evenings. Epcot was the only park that did not seem that crowded. We really enjoyed our day at the WS and we had no problem getting a spot for Illuminations....

I did find that in the heat we did not eat that much. No appetite like in the cooler weather. I think the only PS we used all week was Ohana... :goodvibes

So early May is better, But Memorial day week is doable... :wizard:

We were there the first week of May in 2005 and loved it so much, that's when we're going back in 2007! :cool1: :cool1:

How weird? My dad owns an outside timeshare, we just decided to plan a trip for May and have been debating the week, and my name is also Jessica. :)

We've decided to try for the first week. It seems like it'll have the fewest crowds. I leave next Friday for my free-dining trip and I'm already all caught up in planning the May trip. It's an addiction, I admit it, but I love it :lmao:
