Hey guys, This is our first year with AP's and I am wondering what is the Best Website to book hotels? I have use Priceline and getawaytoday for pervious trips, but is there a better kinda comparison site?

Trivago's webite compares other websites but it seems the prices are quite high. I've found the way to often get the best price is to book directly with the company. If you just want info on the various hotels in the area I'd go to TripAdvisor.

I just book directly with he hotel

Thats what I did on our last trip. Before that Getaway today was my go to because it included park tickets in a nice package. Now I just need the hotel so I figure i'll just book direct. Gonna try CCI or Tropicana I like walking to the park.

I go with hotels.com most of the time. We have no consistent brand loyalty, so earning the stay through hotels.com gives us more than using the hotel sites. Only rarely do I find cheaper going through the hotel's website.

My favorite is kayak.com for searching for hotels. It helps locate the best price and then direct you to whichever website offers that rate.

If your considering CCI, you should also look at the Hotel Indigo around the corner. It's a much nicer hotel and on their corporate website at www.IHG.com, they have some good deals sometimes.

LMT Club is usually mentioned as a source for tickets, but their hotel rates can also be very good.

I usually use tripadvisor.com to research and compare prices, then I go to the hotel's own website to book unless it's more expensive. The reason for this is that some hotels don't give you credit on their rewards program if you book through a third party, and I think it's just safer.

However, I also am on hotels.com mailing list (email) because they sometimes have 20% off and will send an email when they do. I usually check there was well before booking just in case.

I'm actually kind of kicking myself for not just going directly through Marriott every time since we got APs. The points add up fast. We would have had a couple free nights by now. If I had it to do over I would have done it that way but I am picky about hotels. I had been using expedia because you get points that equal discounts when you actually sign up for an account but I always seem to book Marriott properties and their loyalty program would have been a better deal.

Thats what I need to Figure out, I stayed at the Quilty inn and they have points but I have not researched about them. We are going to stay at some better hotels, I found the noise level so high at QI that i wont go back. Walls are way thin lol

I just keep looking through the sites: Cheaptickets, Travelocity, Expedia, Hotels.com and Booking.com. I often hit upon a great deal especially when they are offering 15 or 16 Percent off. I will double check back with trip advisor and I'll also go directly to the hotel site to see what they are offering.
