I apologize theres probably a thread for this already - can't get the search to work for me. :confused3 Just curious as to what restaurants are good for little ones - we have 3 kids ages 2, 4, & 7. I have a list started on ones we want to go to but I don't want to spend alot of time in restaurants. I have a feeling the kids would rathar be in the pool/parks but downtime is needed too.

Anyway so far I've got, Chef Mickey's - dinner (kids not big breakfast eaters), 1900 Park Fare for dinner, Ohana or Kona (not sure which - we're staying at the Poly), Le Celllier (reviews sound delish), and Boatwrights. Before having kids, my husband and I stayed at POR and enjoyed Boatwrights and the boat ride to DTD. Maybe Donald's Breakfastaurous - my daughter (age 4) loves Donald and he seems to be only at this meal. Oh - and our son (age 7) wants to eat at Sci-fi in MGM- says it looks cool! 2 year old seems to go with the flow - may schedule CP for her.

Looking for any suggestions and anyone with kids around our age maybe some scheduling advice would be good - this is our first trip to WDW as a big happy family. Thanks in advance.

We visited WDW in September with DD4 and DS2 and visited all the resteraunts listed except for Sci-fi. Based trying to keep the kids from getting bored, we leaned towared buffet style so we can get in and out quickly (unless it is a character meal). O'Hanas was a great atmosphere and the food seems to be continuously coming out. LeCellier was fantastic, but the kids got a little restless because with appetizer, main course, and dessert we were in there almost 1 1/2 hours. One of our favorites with the kids is Cape May Cafe for dinner. It is a pretty short walk pr boat ride from the side entrance to Epcot (between England and France). They have paper tablecloths on which tthe kids can color/draw.

Have fun.

We faced this last January, with DN6 and DN1.5, and made the following choices:

Whispering Canyon Cafe - Lots of fun here, but we missed out on a lot of it because we were seated in the remote dining area. Avoid that, and you're golden. The food is excellent, the service very attentive (despite being stranded in Siberia), and the kids loved it.

Garden Grill - Great character interaction, good food, interesting but not remarkable atmosphere.

Brown Derby (lunch) - Didn't really handle us well, making us wait a lot longer than other parties despite having arrived the appropriate 10 minutes prior to ADR time, and didn't really accommodate us with the most appropriate table for our party. Not a place I would take children ever again. (Food's great though.)

Artist Point - The best restaurant at WDW, and they did an incredible job with the children as well.

Chefs de France (lunch) - Remarkably good with the children, which surprised me a bit. Of course, the cuisine is stellar, so it's a great choice for the adults too.

Liberty Tree Tavern (dinner) - Excellent character interaction, really good food, great atmosphere. This was our best character meal in our three trips with kids.
