Best way to use Christmas Club $$?

I know this may sound weird, but here goes anyway.

So I have $1000 in my Christmas Club, and I'm starting my shopping tomorrow. What's the best way to go about this?? One of my friends told me to transfer it into my checking account and just use my debit card. But I don't want to get it mixed up with my "real" money, YKWIM?

Another friend told me to get it in cash. But I don't want to carry that kind of money around with me?!?!

What do YOU do? What should I do!??!

Personally I would spend the $1000 on my Disney Visa and earn two free Dole Whips.

Have you considered getting a visa or mastercard prepaid card. I think you can go up to $600 so you could split it and just use the cards to pay for everything.

what you don't spend is still on the card and available for use.

I would put it in the bank and use a CC to buy the gifts. Keep the receipts and a running total of the amount spent. Pay the CC with the cash in the bank.
