We are going to surprise my dd by taking her to WDW for her bday this Feb. She will turn 13 on 2/17. She is mildly autistic/asperger's and has a fixation on Disney. I am trying to think of the best way to surprise her with this trip! I had several ideas, but wondered what anyone else had done or ideas you might have? Thanks!

There are two threads running over on the Disney for Families thread about this. You might check there!

We are surprising our two this summer with a trip. Shhh...they have no clue!:lmao:

Hi Lisa

Does she look in the mirror in the morning
For fun here is a DISign I put together with as many of the "Gang" as I could
Hope her "Surprise Day" is Special.

O-M-G!!! That is beautiful! Thank you so much! She most definitely does use a mirror when getting ready in the a.m. and that would be perfect! You really made my day...thanks again :)

I have a bunch of things to decorate rooms in my 4shared, look in the "Mickey's Grand Welcome" file. There are banners, balloons, footprints, and things for Mickey and the Gang, Tinkerbell and the Princesses. You could decorate her room while she sleeps and then she could wake up to the "disney" surprise. Or you could decorate it while she is at school so she could come home to the surprise.

On her bed you could leave a present wrapped up in bright colors or disney wrapping paper and a big bow with Mel's countdown chain and a mylar disney balloon inside. Then tie a letter to the end of the string on the balloon to let her know she is going to Disney. Then it would be just like the commercials where the disney balloons float out of boxes.

You can also find Minnie things to decorate her room in the "parties" file and "Minnie" subfile.
