Just curious what you guys think the best chance is of getting rooms on the repositioning cruise? I submitted a request to Dreams Unlimited, but do I also just sit on my computer at the DCL website and keep hoping it shows up? Try and call DCL directly at 1? We are a family of 5, with a 5, 3 and at the time of cruising approx. 6 month old- so we really have to have a Category 4. Two rooms doesn't really work with kids that age unless DH and I split up.

Also- any thoughts on what the pricing is going to be? Are repositioning cruises generally more or less expensive than other cruises? I'm just wondering if I'm looking at 2X the 7 day rate. At almost 14 grand, that would be a little steep!

they are being way too tight lipped about pricing ... but with other cruise lines repositioning cruises usually are less than 2x the 7 day price ... but this is Disney, so who knows???

As for the best way to go? I'd stick with DU. I suspect that DCL will "delay" posting the itineraries online ... otherwise their servers might blow up ... so going through a TA at least for the first day or two might be the best (or only) way to go.

Don't rule out 2 rooms just because of the young ages. You can completely open the doors between the rooms so you have one big area. The end of your bed is almost at the end of the other bed....that's close.:D You'd never need to shut the inner door, nor open the outer door of the second room.
