Best Way to Prep for Dudle Do-Right Ripsaw Falls?

Yes you can do that cause I always wear ball caps and any ride I think it will fly off I just take it off and sit on it and flip flops you can do the same thing

Be advised that they have gotten a little paranoid since the Dueling Dragons incidence a couple of years ago and sometimes will tell you that you can't take anything off. I was told this on a few occasions but it was very inconsistent.

Been going since 2005 I have never been told I can't take my hat off and my wife takes her flip flops off and sits on them and never been told she couldn't and its more dangerous to keep them on cause they could fly off and no chance on that if your sitting on them

Ok now I'm curious. What incident?

There were two separate occasions in which guests were struck with flying objects.

:rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:HAHA Mac, i have more fun with them than the ride itself, and the water is freezing
I always plan to spend about $10-15 on those water guns. Groups of girls ages 12-15 seem to scream the loudest. I usually aim for the second person in the boat to catch them off guard.

Note to self - do not sit in the second seat! LOL!

will they allow you to throw them in your seat and sit on them for the ride? That's what I've always done on rides where there is a chance my flip flops might come off.

After losing a flip flop the first week I rode FJ, I now sit on my flip flops every single time. I take them off right after the CM tells me which group to go with (before the moving walkway), so the CMs see them in my hands and see me putting them in the seat. No one has ever said a word and I've ridden that thing over 100 times since it opened (several trips a year and multiple times each trip using single rider repeatedly).

Just FYI: the flip flop I lost on FJ wasn't because the flip flop flew off on it's own. I was in the end seat and the long legged lady sitting next me had her legs swinging as the ride turned to and fro and hit the back edge of my flip flop sending it flying. I had already ridden it several times that morning, before that though, wearing my flip flops and just keeping my toes clinched.
