Best way to plan around ADR's

I have been trying to get my family tied down to a basic touring plan so that I could make ADRs at my 180 day mark on March 29th. Still trying to get a plan down, but so many questions.

I was afraid to miss out on restaurants we really wanted so, I made ADR's. **GASP** without knowing what park for which day. I am hoping that since its September and lower crowds, and we have park hoppers that we can now just plan around our ADR's.

What I have so far is: Whispering Canyon Cafe on 9/25 at 6:50 for dinner.
Spirit of Aloha on Thurs 9/27 at 8 for dinner
Friday 9/28 is our planned date for MNSSHP
HDDR on Sat 9/29 at 9:30 for dinner (only date avail)
Sci-Fi 11:30 lunch/50's 8 pm dinner Sun 9/30
1900 Park Fair on Mon at 5:10 for dinner
Crystal Palace 7:45 dinner Wed 10/3

9/25 is our arrival date so it won't be a park day, so don't mind eating a little earlier and heading back to the resort. The rest of the dinners are on the later side, hopefully we will be ready to leave park. My only concern is making the schedule work around parades/shows/etc. For example, would have to go to DHS another night to see F!.

Do you experienced DIS'ers think I can make this work? We have 10 days, park hopppers, and youngest child is 14, so no little ones to worry about.

Your list with the times looks pretty easy to plan around - a lot of them are near or after park closing times so they won't interfere with your day and others in in the early evening to allow you time to return to a park for some evening times. We are arriving on the same day for 14 days and have made our reservations for the first 12 days of our trip, still waiting to do Sanaa and Yachtsman for those last two reservations when our 180 + 10 dates are available tomorrow and the next day. I have Jiko, Chefs de France, O'Hana, Tokyo Dining, Raglan Road, and Fulton's Crab House. Have to keep calling to try for Le Cellier for Lunch (system has problems) and to get Brown Derby for Fantasmic. Most of ours are for 5:30pm to allow us to return to a park for the closing hours.

thanks for responding, texnana. This is what I am hoping. Hope you get the rest of what you're looking for.

Just check the calendar and see what you might do based on early entry days, etc., (August is already up, probably Sept. is too). Then, don't worry, unless you want something really desired, ADR booking isn't nearly as panicky as you may believe by reading the boards. I revise things all the time. Sure, you may have to vary by 15 or 30 min. but I am still changing my August ones with no problem (nothing picky). With the online system, cancelling and booking new ones has been a piece of cake.

Actually, on furthur looking, you do have a couple of picky ones. But you got them, so you're all set. I'm sure you'll make it work, it looks like you may do parks a little different then we do, as I find I can't take a whole day at DHS and sometimes the way the shows run together, we do better with 2 partial days. (One as an early entry, or late magic hours). You have 10 days, so you have plenty of time to do what you want. So, I guess if it was me, I'd be looking to think differently about the DHS day with Sci Fi and Prime time. But, like I said, everyone has a different touring style. Maybe others can chime in to either agree or disagree with that.
