My little man is obsessed with Mickey Mouse (or Mouse) as he calls him now!

I'm determined to meet Mickey with him, what's the best way of doing this (without a character meal)??

Is there still the meet and greet on Main Street with Mickey?

Or does he appear at the DLH everyday?

I'm pretty certain they have a met n greet with him on Main Street. Ask at City Hall. I know he is always in the studios as a meet n greet too.

There's a meet and greet in both parks I believe.

Personally though, I'd say the best way to meet him is in Cafe Mickey - you don't have to queue for ages, you get a good lunch / dinner and you get some good interaction and "private" time with him, rather than just shake hand - autograph - photo - next please which some of the larger park based meet and greets or scrums feel like at times.

Edit: oops, missed the "without a character meal" bit. I'll leave it there anyway though, because I still think that's the best way. Without one though, I guess you'd have to queue in one of the parks at a meet and greet to guarantee seeing him.

Thanks, haven't been in 4 years and I seem to remember a meet and greet on Main Street nr Casey's Corner although I've never queued up before I'll have to this time!

I agree, def best to see him at a CM, he's most likely to spend the most time with your little boy there.

When you enter the park for the day ... stop by city hall and they can give you an exact time. He is always at the end of main street on the left (before the castle) you'll be able to see where they have a queue area set up. They even take the Disney photo with Mickey for you to purchase (or they can take one for you with your own camera too) ... I seem to make it home with one or two Mickey pics per trip! :mickeyjum

There is deffo a meet a great in both parks, Town town in WDS and somewhere up Main Street in the park so your little one will get to meet the main mouse. Also if you get to the park before it opens Mickey or another character is there to welcome you :)

Thanks for the replies.

We have a meal at Cafe Mickey booked for the day after we get there, however I want one, really good picture of my little man and the Mouse which I'm more likely to get at a meet and greet as it won't have random tables or plates etc in the picture.

when we were there in June our little one got to meet him at the meet and greets in both parks and he was outside the hotel doing meet and greets :)

Personally I think it's easier to meet him in WDS. The queues are shorter and people don't push past like in the main park.

When we went in April, meet & greet was by the City Hall and Minnie was by Casey's. We also met him in Cafe Mickey - he was dresses up as a chef and looked extra cute:)

Aww. loving his chef outfit.

He was dressed normally when we met him there, must have not been his turn in the kitchen!

Ditto, it was less mad in the Studios than in the Park :thumbsup2

I agree about the Studios, never really seen a large queue to meet any of the Characters. Just the slight scrum when the meet and greets are not scheduled.

Be at toon town in the studios just before 11am we meet him twice last week hardley any queue at all ,also we saw him in the DLH at 4 oclock were he dances with the children it wasn,t that busy at all

He can sometimes be found in Adventureland dressed in a safari suit.

I was in the disney store today and one of the CM's told me the best place to meet lots of different characters including Mickey was in the foyer of the DLH mid afternoon. She stated her and her husband stayed there and they got to meet a lot more of the characters than you find in the park and it wasn't as busy x

One of the best day to see Mickey is at Toon Studios. Mickey is "on set" from 10.00 to 10.25 front of the Toontown Backdrop... Each time I saw him there were not so many people, and if you are there in advance, you can have a picture like that: http://storage.canalblog.com/43/63/190637/28009594.jpg

You can also meet Mickey and his friends in the Hotels from 08.00 to 12.00.

Mickey is sometimes at the little show in the Disneyland Hotel's lobby at 16.00
