Best way to make ADRs?

My 180 day is approaching and I would appreciate some advice.

Should I:
1) phone for ADRs?
2) use the WDW site online?
3) use MDE?

I am hesitant to phone as I've read that people can be on hold for a long time and I will be calling long distance from Canada.

I would do it online and not on the MDE app... Also not over the phone since you can make them online 1 hour before the phone lines even open up.

Online and not on application - by phone it's not a good choice because it's not a free number

I got online, Disney's site, went through the "things to do link" at 5:15am CST and booked my whole weeks worth of ADR's in less then 30mins.
