Best way to Logan Airport (Boston) from central MA?

Not too long ago there was a thread w/the different alternate routes to get to Logan. Can someone please add that link here? Thank you
(Our trip is coming up in the next 12 days) Have there been any changes? We have a 8am flight - thinking we should leave by 430am!

I used to be able to navigate in/out of logan no problem. But since all the changes in boston's roadways, and now with tunnel issues I have a professional driver take us in. Since you wouldn't want to pay a limo for your entire distance I strongly suggest hitting logan express. It's really worth the few $ to start off & end your trip without that anxiety.

If considering this option, you'd want to go to Framingham . They start runs as early as 4am and they KNOW the traffic and how to deal with it.

Depending on how many are traveling with you,you might want to consider hiring a van/limo.It might be cheaper. If you're not being dropped off you need to consider the price of parking at Logan Express. The van we get for 6 of us is roughly $65.

Unless you really have to have your car at Logan, I would recommend using either Logan Express in Framingham or calling Knights Airport Service. They are based in Grafton. We use them a lot...about $50 pp r/t. Of course that's using a shared van ride but I figure anything is better than trying to circumvent Boston to get to Logan for awhile yet.

I have used Knight's Limo Service on my past two trips. They are really nice and always on time.

I second the Logan Express from Framingham. We have used the one from Woburn and we just park, buy the tickets, and get on the bus. One less thing to think about. Have fun!

I have also been checking out the possibilities for travel from Worcester to Logan. The one problem that I found with Logan Express from either Framingham or Woburn is that on weekends, the buses only leave every hour. During the week, they leave every 1/2 hour but the schedule changes on the weekends.

On a weekend, barring unforeseen traffic*, the ride from Woburn to the airport should take no more than twenty-five minutes.

*Can't speak for other locations, but the drivers on "my" Logan Express route know the back roads.
